In a new interview promoting Spider-Man: No Way Home, Zendaya sassily threw shade at Tom Holland for previously spoiling Iron Man's infamous death in Avengers: Endgame. The MCU's Spider-Man star has become infamous among fans for leaking sensitive information about the upcoming films in the franchise. Particularly, the plot of Endgame was known to be incredibly sensitive for fans of the franchise, with it being the climactic conclusion of the overarching story for several years.
Released in April of 2019, Endgame saw the titular Avengers attempt to recover from the devastating events of the previous film, Infinity War, in which the Titan, Thanos, wiped out half of the Earth's population. Ultimately, this all led up to an epic final fight between almost the entire cast of Marvel heroes and Thanos himself, a battle that sadly took the life of one of the original MCU heroes, Iron Man. Amongst the star-studded cast was Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and Brie Larson, amongst a plethora of others from other Marvel films.

In an interview with Tara Hitchcock, Zendaya, along with Holland and co-star Jacob Batalon, were asked about any movie moments that they had previously had spoiled. In response, Zendaya brought up the disappointing spoiler that was revealed by Holland during Endgame's release window, with him jokingly asking whoever would have spoiled it for her. Playing along, the actress playfully wondered alongside him before the interview continued. Watch the full interview below:
As previously mentioned, Tom Holland has become infamous within the MCU franchise for accidentally spoiling upcoming films and future projects, to the point where it has become a running joke amongst fans. Back before the release of the second film in his first Spider-Man trilogy, Far From Home, Holland accidentally spoiled the movie's title ahead of its release, uploading a video teasing the new script that had the title in full view of the camera for everyone to see. This became so bad that in many interviews, Holland was kept alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, who had a talent for interrupting him at every turn.
Zendaya's comment about Tom Holland's many MCU leaks has only further reminded audiences of Marvel's caution when allowing him to promote their films. Furthermore, with a brand new Spider-Man film about to hit theatres, it can be assumed that it is only a matter of time before he possibly lets a plot point from the new film slip. Whether you are a longtime fan who wants to relive the explosive events of Avengers: Endgame or a new fan who (hopefully) has not had the film completely spoiled, it is currently available to watch on streaming services and Blu-ray.
