Lost Judgment: All Kappa Statue Locations | Screen Rant

Lost Judgment gives players the chance to flex their detective skills as they uncover secrets surrounding a violent murder. As Takayuki Yagami, players will fight enemies, chase down leads, and use the detective toolkit to complete the main story mission and side cases. Lost Judgement has an abundance of mysteries to solve, including finding and interacting with 56 different Squirrel Graffiti.

There are 42 side cases to complete in Lost Judgment. Some involve tracking down leads on UFOs or missing items, while others will have players searching for collectibles, or making a cat friend. "Where the Kappa Roam" is an early side case in Lost Judgment where players must look for Kappa statues in Yokohama.

Lost Judgment's side cases are a large part of completing the game, and they become available at different stages. The Kappa statue side case begins with a cutscene explaining that the Kappa are meant to bring in tourists, but 7 of them have gone missing. Yagami must track down all 7 and return them to close the case. Completing the Kappa statue side case will grant players money and SP, which is used for upgrades in Lost Judgment.

With a myriad of content, and plans for DLC, completing everything in Lost Judgment can be overwhelming. The 7 missing Kappa statues in the game are scattered around Yokohama and are somewhat difficult to locate. Some of them can just be picked up, but a few will need to be taken or purchased from NPCs. The case can be started on N. Sakura River Street just north of Tsurukame Bridge. From there, Yagami will need to find the Kappa in various locations.

  • Head to the Drone Racing area in the northern part of the map to find the Kappa next to a soccer goal.
  • West of N. Sakura River Street, there is a man fishing in the river. Talk to him, complete the minigame, and receive the Kappa statue.
  • The next statue is in the hands of a thief who can be found in the homeless camp near Onodera’s Wares. He’ll be carrying the statue and running in circles until Yagami approaches, then a chase sequence will begin. Catch the thief to secure the Kappa statue.
  • At the corner of Misaki Street and S. Sakura River Street, there will be two Kappa statues side-by-side. Yagami can interact with one of them.
  • On Tsurukame Bridge there will be two men talking about selling a Kappa. Listen to the full conversation, then the Kappa statue will be available for 100 yen at Benten Pawn.
  • At the corner of E. Central Street and Ohama Street, there is a Kappa sitting on top of some trash bags.
  • The last statue will only be available once the other six are picked up. Go back to Yokohama 99 to find the final Kappa sitting in the corner near Yagami’s shelves. If players are at a significant point in the main story, they may not be able to interact with the statue. In that case, simply return at a later time to retrieve it.

Finding all of the Kappa statues will reward players with money and experience. Hunting them down can be a bit tedious, but there are a few that are close to each other. "Where the Kappa Roam" is one of the first available side cases, so it's a good way for players to earn rewards early on in the game. Lost Judgment has many secondary activities, from finding Kappa statues to playing a collection of classic Sega games.
