Destiny 2: September 2021 Prime Gaming Rewards (& How To Get Them)

New Destiny 2 Twitch Prime Gaming rewards were released during week five of Season of the Lost, giving players with Amazon Prime accounts another opportunity to earn in-game loot. These rewards are updated each month, typically in its last week. This guide will teach players how to get the September 2021 Prime Gaming Rewards for Destiny 2.

Although those who have missed out on past Prime Gaming rewards cannot redeem them after the fact, all of the Prime rewards are available to earn in-game via a number of sources, like Exotic Engrams, Eververse Engrams, and Destiny 2's Exotics vendor, Xur. Still, considering the amount of gear that can spawn from these sources, the chances of getting some of the Prime Gaming rewards naturally is extremely low.

The first step to getting September's Destiny 2 Prime Gaming loot is to link an Amazon Prime account to the desired Bungie Account. Since Destiny 2 has cross-saving, it doesn't matter which platform is linked. For example, earning the rewards by linking an Xbox Live account will allow them to later be pulled from Collections while playing on Steam or any other platform.

After linking accounts, claim the rewards from Prime Gaming's Destiny 2 menu in a web browser (accessible here). Next, load up Destiny 2 and head to Amanda Holliday in the Tower hangar. She is always the person to report to, regardless of what the rewards are; although she's the Tower's shipwright, she still gives out Exotic weapons and other non-transportation items in the month's rewards package.

The September 2021 Prime Gaming Rewards for Destiny 2 include:

  • Dark Horse Exotic Sparrow - season 5, acquired with a random perk
  • Rust Punk Shell Exotic Ghost - season 5, acquired at power level 1
  • The Bandwagon Exotic Ship - season 1
  • "Hold On" Legendary Emote - season 3

While the "Hold On" emote will appear in all characters' emote menu automatically after being acquired from Amanda Holliday, the Dark Horse Sparrow, Bandwagon ship, and Rust Punk Shell will need to be reacquired on different characters. Simply use Destiny 2's Collections tab to navigate to the desired item, then use Legendary Shards and Glimmer to reacquire it. As with many Sparrows, the Dark Horse rolls with a random perk on each reacquisition, so it can drop with perks that make it more stable or reload all weapons.
