The other Star Wars Rebels characters are scattered around the galaxy during Ahsoka Tano's (Rosario Dawson) The Mandalorian appearance. The fan-favorite character from the animated pocket of the franchise finally made her live-action debut in The Mandalorian season 2. Since Ahsoka's last sighting was in the Star Wars Rebels series finale, there's interest about where the other members of the Ghost crew are during her encounter with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Baby Yoda.
For context, the events of The Mandalorian take place around 9 ABY, which is five years after the Empire's fall. This is the reason why Imperial remnants are spread throughout the galaxy with several factions still working to relive their glory days, including Moff Gideon's (Giancarlo Esposito) cell. Meanwhile, the New Republic is currently working to build a better governing body with X-Wing pilots such as Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) and Trapper Wolf (Dave Filoni) operating as galactic police. The primary finale of Star Wars Rebels takes place just before the birth of Rebellion leading up to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. That said, it also featured a massive time jump during its epilogue, catching viewers up on what several Ghost crew members are up to following the Battle of Endor.
At the end of Star Wars Rebels, Ahsoka re-emerged following her duel with Darth Vader in Malachor back in season 2. She joins Sabine in their quest to locate Ezra, whose whereabouts continue to be a mystery. It's worth noting, however, that it's unclear if Ahsoka's encounter with Din and Grogu precedes her final appearance on Star Wars Rebels; nevertheless, the animated show gives a good idea of where each member is during The Mandalorian.
The final addition to the Ghost team, Ezra Bridger was trained to become a Jedi and was instrumental in freeing the people of his homeworld of Lothal against the Empire's control. As he confronts Grand Admiral Thrawn during the Star Wars Rebels finale, he opted to stay with the Chiss tactician as the purrgil take the villain's ship to hyperspace. Ezra's whereabouts remain the biggest lingering mystery from Star Wars Rebels, with Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano embarking on a journey in the hopes of locating him years after he disappeared with Grand Admiral Thrawn. While there hasn't been any clear indication as to where he is, Star Wars Rebels creator Dave Filoni confirmed that Ezra did survive the bumpy trip, as well as Grand Admiral Thrawn. Depending on how Lucasfilm wants to move forward with this story, Ahsoka's The Mandalorian appearance may very well be the first step to resolving this plot thread.
The Mandalorian member of the Ghost crew, Sabine Wren was a former cadet at the Imperial Academy of Mandalore where she built weapons for the Empire. After learning that her creations were actually being used against her people and so many others, she left Mandalore and was branded a traitor by both the Empire and her own clan. She was eventually recruited to join the Ghost team where she became an integral part of the gang.
Sabine once wielded the Darksaber after she reclaimed it from Maul. Instead of keeping it to herself, however, she handed it to Bo-Katan Kryze in the hopes that she could reunite the Mandalorian people. Following the fall of the Empire, she joins Ahsoka in tracking down Ezra, but when the former Jedi appeared on The Mandalorian, she was operating alone. There's also no mention of her being with Sabine. Depending on when exactly The Mandalorian episode takes place in relation to the Star Wars Rebels finale, it's possible that the pair have parted ways after their initial mission ended.
Born Caleb Dume, Kanan Jarrus took on a different name after the Jedi Knight survived Order 66 as a tribute to his friend, Janus Kasmir, who helped him survive in hiding. Joining Hera Syndulla, they spearheaded the Ghost crew together. He also took in Ezra Bridger to become his Padawan despite not officially finishing training himself. He was blinded by Maul during their duel; while this discouraged him for a while, he came out of the tragedy stronger than ever as he strengthened his connection to the Force with the help of the Bendu.
Kanan, unfortunately, didn't survive the events of Star Wars Rebels. During the team's rescue of Hera, who was captured by Grand Admiral Thrawn's people, he sacrificed himself to ensure that the rest of the Ghost crew safely escaped. Kanan became a part of the Cosmic Force after that, manifesting as a loth-wolf called Dume.
Legendary freedom fighter Hera Syndulla had been fighting Empire for years, being the daughter of General Cham Syndulla. She was instrumental in the formation of the Rebellion as she led her own cell, which became the Ghost crew. Alongside her members, they did a great job protecting the people of Lothal which drew the attention of both Imperial figures like Grand Moff Tarkin and Darth Vader, as well as Rebellion leaders like Senator Bail Organa. While her ally and lover Kanan Jarrus ended up dying before the Star Wars Rebels finale, she's left with their son Jacen who was born after his father's death. The last time Hera was seen, she's devoting time to raising Jacen, although it's safe to say that she would still be involved in the New Republic's affairs, which is the galaxy's main governing body at that time of The Mandalorian.
Originally a captain of the Lasan Honor Guard, Zeb Orrelios was believed to be one of the few Lasat survivors after the Empire decimation of Lasan. In an effort to help fight the evil Empire, he joined Hera Syndulla, Kanan Jarrus, and the rest of the Ghost crew as they patrolled Lothal. Forming a bond with former-Imperial officer Alexsandr Kallus, who played a part in the murder of his people, Zeb took his ex-adversary to Lasan after the end of the Galactic Civil War in Star Wars Rebels. There, he revealed that many of the Lasat have survived the Empire's attack, with the pair deciding to settle in Lasan. Chances are that both Zeb and Kallus are still living quietly in the former's homeworld during the events of The Mandalorian.
The sixth and final member of the Ghost crew is an astromech droid named Chopper (C1-10P). Known for his strong personality, which added a lot of fun to his interactions with his fellow Freedom Fighters, Chopper played important parts in a lot of the team's missions. He's remained with Hera throughout the Galactic Civil War and after that during Star Wars Rebels' epilogue. This could mean that he's still with her wherever they are while The Mandalorian tackled Ahsoka's first encounter with Mando and Baby Yoda.
