Pokémon GO's First Wave Of Kalos Pokémon (& Shinies) Revealed In Leak

After announcing that Gen 6 Pokémon would be making their way into Pokémon GO, the first wave of Kalos Pokémon have been leaked and are coming as a part of the game's next update. While the Kalos region introduced 72 unique species of Pokémon, only a handful will be added to Pokémon GO during the next update.

On November 18, Niantic announced that Pokémon GO would be undergoing some massive changes as a part of the Pokémon GO Beyond update. This update plans to add changing seasons that reflect the time of year in real life as well as increasing the maximum player level from 40 to 50. Niantic also announced that Kalos Pokémon would finally be making their way into Pokémon GO following the inclusion of Mega Evolutions. It was also stated that players could start to see Gen 6 Pokémon in their games as soon as December 2.

While the next update is less than a week away, players won't have to wait until then to see which Kalos Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO. Thanks to a dedicated team of Pokémon data miners named PokéMiners, the first 24 Kalos Pokémon have already been leaked. These include all three starter Pokémon and their evolutionary lines as well as some of the region's most iconic Pokémon. The Noivern, Talonflame, Litleo, and Diggersby evolutionary lines are all part of the upcoming update as well as Meowstic, Espur, Kelfki, and Scatterbug. These Pokémon are pictured in the tweet below.

While each Pokémon that has been added to the game's files also includes its Shiny model, this does not mean that every Pokémon's Shiny form will be available come December 2. At the very least, the starters and their evolutions can be encountered Shiny, but the rest are unknown. This is commonplace for Pokémon GO as Niantic is known to stager the release of multiple Pokémon's Shiny forms. It is also unsure if all 24 Pokémon will be available during the next update or if they will release some of them at a later date.

Kalos is a favored region by many, and as such there are a lot of trainers who are excited about the release of Pokémon GO's first Gen 6 Pokémon. Greninja is a fan-favorite Pokémon as well which is bound to draw plenty of returning players. With less than a week to go, Pokémon GO's Kalos lineup is looking pretty spectacular.
