The life of Big Brother 22: All-Stars star Christmas Abbott has involved an arrest, a pregnancy, and a new business since her first time being on the show. Christmas first competed on Big Brother 19, which aired in 2017. She came in third place. From the start, it became evident that Christmas was going to be a fierce player when it came to competitions. However, while joking around with Jason in the backyard, Christmas broke her foot in multiple places. Given that this took place on week 2, Christmas had a physical disability during most of the season.
Still, Christmas made it onto the Final 3 and fell just short of pleading her case to the jury in the hopes of winning the Big Brother grand prize. On day 92, Josh Martinez won the Head of Household competition and chose to evict Christmas. As the last jury member of the season, Christmas voted for Paul Abrahamian to win. Nonetheless, it was Josh who took home the $500,000 prize after a vote of 5-4. The second-ever Big Brother: All-Stars is just getting started, and Christmas has been officially announced as one of the players. However, many fans may not know what she's been up to since BB19, which was three years ago.
In March 2018, Christmas Abbott announced to her Big Brother 19 fans that she was expecting her first child. Then, on October 8, 2018, Christmas gave birth to her son Loyal... and adorable pictures of the child were all over Instagram. Unfortunately, everything changed a month later. In November, Christmas was arrested in Tampa, Florida on charges of criminal mischief worth $1,000 or more. Per TMZ, Christmas' arrest was connected to a situation that happened in August 2018. According to the police report obtained, Christmas confronted a woman who was romantically involved with Loyal's father. At a gym's parking lot, Christmas reportedly rammed into the woman's car and called her a "pathetic home-wrecking little sl*t." Nonetheless, police officers declined to arrest her at the time because she was pregnant. Thus, Christmas' arrest took place in November 2018 - after she delivered her son. On November 19, Christmas pleaded not guilty to those charges.
Legal drama aside, Christmas never stopped developing her lifestyle brand further. In fact, she kept landing various marketing opportunities with different brands that catered to the health and beauty audience. With 682,000 followers on Instagram, Christmas is the most-followed houseguest of Big Brother 22: All-Stars - which proves that she has a significant appeal as a digital influencer.
In 2020, Christmas launched her own subscription streaming service consisting of fitness videos. According to the Christmas Fitness website, a subscription costs $37 per month or $395 per year. On the website, Christmas also sells merch and suggests supplements. Considering that this was launched sometime in July, one can assume that Christmas' strategy was tied to her casting on BB22.
Considering that she was injured during her original season, the jury is still out on how Christmas will do on Big Brother 22: All-Stars. Nonetheless, it seems like she does have a lot of social media fans who will cheer her on.
Big Brother 22 airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8pm EST on CBS.
