The women of The Real Housewives of New York City are set to come together for an in-person reunion, the first from Bravo since the pandemic began. The ladies are ready to jump back into the saddle and face off in hopes of clearing the air of any ill-will from the past season.
The Real Housewives of New York has had an amazing season thanks to its newcomer, Leah McSweeney. Ramona Singer, on the other hand, has been a complete monster with her selfish attitude. For some reason, however, Ramona is extremely worried about Dorinda Medley’s state of mind. Fans of the Bravo show know that every reunion packs a punch, especially with characters like these. When the women gather to hash out their grievances, fans can always expect plenty of tears, angry words, and sometimes even punches thrown over unresolved issues from the season. The women always come dressed to the nines as they seek to prove that their feelings should be validated and their side of the story is the truth.
The RHONY housewives will be the first cast members of any Bravo show to appear in-person for their reunion since the pandemic started. Page Six revealed the reunion is scheduled to take place in the Hamptons next week. Fans were thrilled to hear the news that the women would be able to settle their differences face-to-face instead of hashing it out via Zoom.
The reunion, which is set to film on August 5, will be spearheaded by the Bravo king himself, Andy Cohen, who is currently self-isolating out in the Hamptons. The network is still taking the virus very seriously and will be setting up precautions. The outlet’s source explained that the network will be following CDC guidelines for the taping. Bravo will also use a limited crew and require everyone to wear facemasks. The cast will sit six feet apart, so viewers can expect voices to be raised even higher. Many viewers feel the reunion will be a showdown between Leah and Ramona, since they have recently been going at it on social media. Leah isn't afraid to let the OG know exactly what she thinks of her. Ramona certainly hasn't held back either, and Leah isn't the only housewife on the receiving end of her insults. The star also offended Sonja Morgan, Dorinda, and Elyse Slaine on numerous occasions.
Bravo fans can't wait to watch their favorite women all in the same room. Andy will surely have his hands full as he tries to conduct a smooth get-together, which is easier said than done. There are also rumors that Ramona is coming to the end of her run on the show, as the network would like to freshen the cast up a bit. We'll just have to tune-in to The Real Housewives of New York City to find out if those rumors are true.
The Real Housewives of New York airs Thursday at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
