Stassi Schroeder ‘Lost Everything’ Including Her Podcast after Being Fired from VPR

Stassi Schroeder's podcast "Straight Up with Stassi" has been removed from all major platforms after the Bravo network fired her from Vanderpump Rules for past alleged racist actions, including making a false police report on her former castmate Faith Stowers.

Schroeder launched Straight Up With Stassi in 2015 as a result of her success on the Bravo series. The podcast led to a live tour show called Straight Up With Stassi LIVE. Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni were all fired from the reality show Tuesday for racially insensitive behavior.

A broadcaster of the podcast, Radio.com, confirmed its decision in an Instagram post: "We recently learned of racially charged and inappropriate actions by Stassi Schroeder during one of her previous projects. In light of this, Radio.com has made the decision to part ways with her. We take these matters very seriously and condemn these actions. 'Straight Up with Stassi' has been moved from our portfolio." The podcast also appears to have been removed from the other podcasting platforms, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Sticher. Schroeder still has information about her podcast on her personal website, but clicking on the link brings up a warning: "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store." The reality TV star's Straight Up with Stassi LIVE roadshow was set to return at New Jersey's Basie Center in January but the venue just announced its cancellation.

Stassi has remained silent throughout the fall of her empire this week but a source has spoken out about how she is taking it. A source told Us Weekly, "Stassi has been very emotional by this situation and has been sad and crying, and also angry." They said, "She feels blindsided that she was fired and lost her podcast and sponsorships." According to another source at Us Weekly, her fiance, Beau, "has been being her rock throughout all of this and she’s been grateful to have his support. Professionally speaking, Vanderpump Rules and her podcast were her main priorities and she loved working on both."

Her mom and brother have also spoken out in her defense, campaigning to get her back on the series, which was expected to feature her October wedding to Beau during season 9. Vanderpump Rules has yet to be renewed for a ninth season. Only time will tell who will remain in the cast.
