KUWTK: Kourtney Kardashian Reveals Why She's Taking a Step Back from Filming

In the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the tension between the infamous sisters has reached an irreversible boiling point. The consistent arguing and seeming lack of understanding one another led Kim and Kourtney, to a physical fight in the season 18 premiere. The discord, among other things, has led the eldest sister to take a step back from filming their popular reality series.

Kim and Kourtney's multiple seasons of ongoing bickering led to the most jaw-dropping moment on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Their intense physical altercation left Kourtney crying and Kim recovering from her battle wounds. Production was even shut down for a week, leaving many, including the sisters, wondering what would happen next.

Fans immediately began to respond on social media about the fight. Some expressed support for the sisters or joked, including brother Rob Kardashian, who tweeted "Kourtney 'the nail digger' Kardashian weighing in at 108 pounds...Kim 'the kicker' Kardashian West weighs in at 128 pounds." There was also an overwhelming response of fans being over Kourtney's repeated contests of not wanting to film. When one fan shared her desire for Kourtney to quit, the star responded with a simple "I did. Bye." See the post below:

Kourtney's simple and direct post may have been enough for some fans but others wanted more answers. Fortunately, at the end of the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney further confirms she's taking a step back from filming and picking what she films. She revealed she aims to focus and plan time for being a mom and "wants to feel fulfilled and happy" because "life is too short."

Although some fans may be saddened by Kourtney's decision, it seems she may have made the best decision for herself and her family. Her consistent aggravated mood caused friction between her and her sisters for an extended period of time, leading to an unforgettable fight. Considering her long term involvement of the show, this decision probably didn't come lightly. If she does change her mind, the always supportive family will welcome her back.
