There are three main ways to get eggs in Cozy Grove; players can upgrade and visit Mr. Kit’s store, buy eggs in bulk from Pandem, or harvest eggs from happy birds. Some methods of egg collection are more expensive or more time-consuming than others, and players should weigh cost and effort against where they are in the game. Eggs are an important cooking material in Cozy Grove, and knowing how to find them is essential.
One of the simplest ways to access eggs in Cozy Grove is by upgrading Kit’s Canteen. Once the player has fed a second spirit log to Flamey and purchased a fishing rod, they will have access to Kit’s Canteen. After making some progress, the player will be able to upgrade Kit’s Canteen using the “Store Upgrade Catalog,” sold for 10k. The next upgrade, achieved by purchasing the “Luxury Store Upgrade Catalog” for 200k coin, will supply Kit’s Canteen with one egg per day, at 180 coin. While this method of egg collection is fairly straightforward, it is also costly and somewhat inefficient, as it only allows the player to purchase one egg each day.
The most cost-effective method of getting eggs in Cozy Grove, however, is by investing in birds. This method requires some dedication and patience, as players will have to manage the happiness of their birds, represented with hearts. Birds need to be surrounded by objects that have item tags corresponding to their likes, and need to be kept away from items that have item tags corresponding to their dislikes. Petting birds also raises their happiness by half a heart for the game day. Birds with three full hearts may produce eggs in addition to spirit essence. While the investment in the birds themselves and the food needed to harvest them may be too high for the return of eggs alone, the addition of spirit essence, another valuable crafting material, makes this method worth pursuing.

The best way to stock up on eggs in Cozy Grove is by visiting Pandem, the ghost bear resembling a red panda. Much like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Cozy Grove runs in real-time – with game days beginning at 5 am – and Pandem will only appear on Wednesdays near the dock on the beach. Pandem will only appear for the first time after the player has been active in Cozy Grove for seven-game days. It is important to note that active game time is not the same as passive time since the game was first played; the player must actually complete actions in Cozy Grove on at least seven different days.
Pandem carries six item types regularly, along with four decoration items tagged as rare or higher:
- 2 stacks of 6 Eggs: 654 coins per stack
- 6 Boiled Eggs: 7,776 coins
- 1 Deviled Egg: 16,201 coins
- 6 Salt: 3,600 coins
- 6 Onion: 3,600 coins
- 6 Cocoa Bean: 540 coins
This puts Pandem’s price at 109 coins per egg, whereas Mr. Kit charges 180 per egg. It pays to buy in bulk in Cozy Grove!
Cozy Grove is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC
