10 Netflix Marvel Characters Most Likely To Appear Next In The MCU After Kingpin & [Spoiler]

Warning: This list contains SPOILERS for Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye.

Fans have long anticipated that the many great characters from the Marvel Netflix suite of streaming series would crossover into the MCU. For a time, it didn't seem likely, but thanks to major developments in both Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye, two major Netflix characters have appeared. This likely means other Netflix characters are already on their own way. The only question is who.

Kingpin's appearance at the end of episode five of Hawkeye blew open a door that Daredevil walked through only a few days later in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Having both characters in the MCU means that the rest of the Netflix series will more than likely see their major stars appear somewhere in the near future. Some make more sense than others, and some will fit right into where the MCU is now headed.

10 Karen Page

Given that Daredevil is now in the MCU, it only makes sense that the supporting players from his Netflix series appear too. Karen Page is a character from the Netflix Daredevil series who should appear in the MCU and very likely will in the near future.

She is Matt Murdock's trusted associate, friend, and potential romantic partner. She was also key in bringing Wilson Fisk to justice in the course of the series, and now that he's free and vested with enormous power, she's likely a target for Kingpin.

9 Foggy Nelson

Another target for Kingpin and a Netflix character destined to appear in the MCU is Foggy Nelson. Matt Murdock's closest friend and partner in their law firm, Foggy is in some way Matt's conscience. He's also a lot of fun, making him essential to return.

If Daredevil continues in his own Disney+ series or perhaps a movie, Foggy definitely needs to be there alongside Matt and Karen to provide friendship and support, as Daredevil's life is likely going to get much more complicated than it was in the Netflix show.

8 Madame Gao

With the MCU exploring the criminal underworld in depth now and dealing with the shadowy Ten Rings organization, it's likely that The Hand will make an appearance. If they do, it only makes sense for Madame Gao, one of the founders of The Hand, to make an appearance.

Though she appears to die in The Defenders series, it's not made explicit. Her return makes a lot of sense for where the MCU is headed. Madame Gao is a powerful figure not just in New York City but throughout the world, and it's very likely that she is plugged into the same nefarious plans that Sharon Carter, The Power Broker is, along with Val, The Contessa, and the Kingpin.

7 Claire Temple

Claire Temple is one of the best supporting characters in the Netflix Marvel group of shows, and with connections to most of the major characters like Luke Cage and Daredevil, it only makes sense that she would appear.

In Marvel Comics, Claire was the ex-wife of Bill Foster, who was also known as Goliath. While that doesn't seem to be the case in the MCU, she could still have some connection to Foster that could be explored, as he's appeared in Ant-Man And The Wasp.

6 The Punisher

Comic book fans know the Punisher is a character who has had many adaptations in live-action over the last 20 years. When he appears in the MCU, he is certain to be played by Jon Berenthal, who played him in the dark and compelling Netflix series.

The Punisher's ties to Daredevil, Spider-Man, and many other New York City-based characters make him a virtual lock for appearing in some form in the not too distant future. It remains a question of the violence of his series could be replicated for a Disney+ show, but he's sure to return.

5 Elektra

Elektra featured in some of the best Daredevil comics of all time, and it's impossible to think she won't join Daredevil in the MCU. Elektra appeared to die in the collapse of the caves under the Midland Circle in the climax of The Defenders crossover series, but Elektra had died and come back before.

Elodie Yung brought a fantastic energy to Elektra that could either drive a straight continuation of her story arc or if the MCU decides to reboot in some ways with the Netflix characters, start over from the beginning.

4 Misty Knight

Echo dreamt of dragons as a girl, as seen in the Hawkeye series, but those dragons may not have been the fantastical ones from Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. Her dragons may have been the Daughters of the Dragon, including Misty Knight.

Misty Knight is very likely to appear in the MCU, as she has connections to many characters sure to appear soon. She was a leader of Heroes For Hire, one of the most powerful members of The Defenders, and together with Colleen Wing, a force to be reckoned with in New York City.

3 Colleen Wing

Colleen Wing is a lock to appear in the MCU, and she potentially could have appeared in Shang-Chi. Actress Jessica Henwick turned down a role in Shang-Chi to appear in The Matrix Resurrections. While it's not clear the role would have been Colleen, it makes sense that it was.

Colleen Wing is one of the best martial artists in the Marvel Universe, and with the power of the Iron Fist at her disposal (which she obtained in the Netflix series), she could very easily be the MCU's version of that character going forward.

2 Luke Cage

Luke Cage is one of the most powerful and prominent members of the Avengers in the comics, and it makes a lot of sense that he would be also in the MCU. he could even appear very soon if the Scarlet Witch begins using her reality-altering powers as much as she did in the House Of M comic book. In that altered reality, Luke Cage led a covert band of Avengers in New York City.

Luke Cage was a major force in the Netflix shows and with Kingpin active in the city, Luke will be looking out for Harlem and other neighborhoods that are likely feeling the pinch of Kingpin's criminal machinations.

1 Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones has also been an Avenger in the comics and is a close personal friend of Carol Danvers. That makes her very likely to appear in the MCU. Her detective agency is likely to come into play for a variety of characters in the MCU now or soon to be.

The comic books had Jessica be a student with Peter Parker at Midtown High, which won't happen in the MCU. But she could potentially become friends and allies with Spider-Man, who moved into Manhattan at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, not far from her office.
