The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna reveals her mother Lois suffered from a stroke. Since Lisa has been a part of the Bravo series, she has brought Lois on for quick cameos. Lisa even brought her to lunch with the ladies one time, and all the women were obsessed with her. Lois is witty, sweet, and clearly adores her daughter, despite some of the things she has said in the past about her castmates.
One of the more memorable moments with the iconic Lois was when she detailed the time she was almost murdered by serial killer David Carpenter. During a season 8 episode, the mother-daughter duo revealed that before Lisa was born, Lois was attacked by a man she worked with, who happened to be the well-known killer. Luckily, a military policeman was nearby and saved Lois from harm that day. Lisa admitted that when she learned the truth about what her mother went through, she felt great sadness and empathy for Lois but also applauded her courage.
On November 10, Lisa shared an adorable video to Instagram of Lois dancing and humming along to Justin Bieber's hit single "Despacito," with a caption letting Lisa's followers know that her mother recently suffered a stroke. Lisa was unsure about sharing the news at first, but she knows how much RHOBH viewers love Lois and thought it was best to let everyone know about the tragic event. It is unclear when the stroke took place, and if the actress was with her mother at the time when the Instagram video was posted.
People tried to reach out for details regarding Lois' prognosis, but Lisa was unavailable to comment. Lisa's youngest daughter Amelia Hamlin, who recently broke up with Scott Disick, left a comment under her mother's post, writing, "Love you nana, forever." Lisa and her daughters will be there for Lois every step of the way, hoping for the best. In May 2019, Lisa revealed on Twitter that her mother suffered a stroke six years prior, which completely changed her life. Lois had to learn how to walk and talk again after months of rehabilitation. Lisa referred to Lois as "one of the lucky ones" following her first stroke.
While there is no concrete information on how Lois is doing since her stroke, Lisa is preparing for the worst. Thankfully, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has the support of her husband Harry Hamlin, daughters, fans, and her castmates.
