Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian promoted her new KKW Fragrance collection that launches this Thursday. The SKIMS founder has had quite the success in all of her brands, including KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance and SKIMS. Last week, Kim launched her SKIMS x Fendi collaboration, which was a limited edition of luxury shapewear and loungewear. It was reported that Kim's collaboration made over $1 million during the first minute of the launch.
Kim launched her fragrance line back in 2017, expanding from her KKW Beauty line. Three scents were included in the initial launch: Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Oud and Crystal Gardenia Citrus. All three scents were packaged in crystal-shaped bottles, ranging in three different colors to differentiate each one. As her empire started to gain more success, Kim decided to collaborate with her sisters Khloé and Kourtney for the ultimate, and iconic, diamond collection. The trio promoted the 2019 KKW Fragrance Diamond Collection on Instagram, with each sister wearing different colored bodysuits--Kim in white, Kourtney in light pink, and Khloe in yellow--to represent their individual scents. Khloe's scent featured hints of jasmine. Kim's scent mimicked a fresh floral bouquet with hints of wild aromas. And Kourtney's scent was sweet and candy-like.
The reality star-turned-entrepreneur promoted her new KKW Fragrance Opals Collection on Instagram. Kim promoted the new collection with a series of intimate pictures of herself. One of the included pictures was herself standing in black SKIMS boyshorts while holding a black mold of her chest and abdominal area. The new collection will include three opal scents--Opal Energy, Opal Mood and Opal Drip--where buyers can get either an individual scent or a bundle of all three.
According to Kim's Instagram post, Opal is a stone that she has a deep connection to. Opals can come in a different form of circular stones that have strong connections to loyalty, confidence and happiness. Through this collection, however, the Opal scent is meant to intensify love, passion, loyalty and confidence. "I really wanted to evoke those emotions through all three scents. I can't wait for you guys to try these new fragrances," Kim wrote on Instagram. Opal Energy has an earthy scent. Opal Mood is more fruity. And Opal Drip is a mixture of both woody and sweet tones.
Usually, with a bundle of beauty products or fragrances, there's at least one that doesn't live up to the hype as the other included products. With Kim's KKW Opal collection, however, all of the fragrances come from the staple scents that everybody loves. Fans can buy an individual fragrance for $45 or a bundle of all three scents for $120. Since all three scents seem to have the most perfect scent, the bundle seems the way to go. The collection from the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star launches on Thursday, November 17 at 12pm.
