Soundtracks are an integral part to the atmosphere of each game included in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. Many fans have been concerned about the possibility of songs being left out of this latest remaster, and that appears to be the case, though a large majority of the original soundtracks seem to be intact. Rockstar has just recently unveiled the list of songs for each game's soundtrack.
This news comes alongside a full list of enhancements that were made to each game in the trilogy. Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas originally released for the PlayStation 2 in the early- to mid-2000s. They've each been re-released in some form since their debut, but this marks the first full remaster of any of the three classic titles. With new graphics, lighting, and controls, these remakes are almost complete, with the only, currently known exceptions being a few music tracks missing from Vice City and San Andreas.
Rockstar provided a list of every included song to Video Games Chronicle, though Rockstar's own list appears to be incomplete. VGC notes that there are some songs from the originals that are not on the list, but have already been heard in footage of GTA: The Trilogy that's leaked. There are others apparently missing from the games, though, that were also not present in past re-releases, such as Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean," Tom Petty's "Runnin' Down A Dream," and Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name," among others. Every song confirmed by Rockstar to be in GTA: The Trilogy is listed below, first by game in release order, then by in-game radio station and song title alphabetically.
