90 Day Fiancé: Big Ed Reveals How He Got Back Together With Ex Liz

90 Day Fiancé cast member Big Ed Brown has confirmed he’s engaged to Liz Woods as he reveals how he got back together with his ex-girlfriend after their 90 Day: The Single Life breakup. Big Ed was introduced in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 as he traveled to the Philippines to meet Rose Vega, who eventually dumped him. However, to everyone’s surprise, Big Ed found love in another younger woman, Liz, but the unsteady relationship also collapsed.

During the 90 Day: The Single Life season 1 Tell-All, Liz, 29, conveyed that although her 56-year-old boyfriend Big Ed had broken up with her and was spotted with other women, she wanted him back. Interestingly, Big Ed and Liz spent the night together after the Tell-All despite having not talked for a month. The next morning, Big Ed had a panic attack and soon told Liz it wasn’t going to work. Per Big Ed’s confession on a recent 90 Day Bares All episode, he broke up with her eight times via text. However, it seems the 90 Day Fiancé couple was meant to get back together in the end.

In an interview with People, Big Ed spoke about how he realized a month before their reunion that he didn’t "want to love anybody else.” Big Ed explained the situation felt “surreal” since he didn’t think he would get back with Liz “in a million years.” The break-up took a toll on Liz who said she “went through a really bad depression stage." Meanwhile, Big Ed admitted he "wasn’t a good person” or “a good boyfriend” and started going to therapy to find out he “didn't treat Liz like she deserved to be treated.” After Big Ed’s dog Teddy passed away in August, Liz reached out to him to offer condolences. This led to them getting back in contact.

After slowly chatting via email, Big Ed invited Liz over for dinner and asked her, “Am I your forever?” Her reply was simply, “yes.” Liz then left for work, and Big Ed immediately headed to a jewelry store “and bought the biggest diamond” he could find. As it turns out, Big Ed and Liz reunited on a Saturday and were engaged the very next day. The couple’s proposal will be a highlight of their storyline on 90 Day: The Single Life, which Big Ed described as “a beautiful moment.” They also admitted to keeping the proposal a secret as they wanted to “enjoy that moment” with each other.

Still, Liz has been posting clues on her Instagram since then indicating Big Ed is her “new partner." While Liz has not been a part of the trailers for 90 Day: The Single Life, the season could end with her engagement or possible marriage to Big Ed. His official plot description reveals he’ll be ready to try new things after the breakup and will travel around the world to find the one. However, viewers will have to watch the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff to see how this leads Big Ed back to Liz.
