Since the beginning of their relationship, Zack and Michaela have faced physical and emotional obstacles that have made it difficult for the couple to form a trusting bond. From his response to their first explosive argument to canceling movie night, some fans fear that Zack has already given up on his marriage with Michaela.
At first, Zack and Michaela had a strong connection that appeared impenetrable. Unfortunately, after only four days of marriage, the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted the couple's honeymoon. Zack was diagnosed with COVID-19 while the newlyweds enjoyed their honeymoon in Florida. To be safe, Michaela returned home to Texas and Zack quarantined at the honeymoon resort. Although the pair was able to communicate over the phone, they lost valuable time to build a reliable foundation for their marriage during Zack's recovery. Once Zack came back to his married life, the pair swiftly launched into an explosive argument that has caused more distance between the Married At First Sight season 13 cast members.
Even though it took Zack just over a week to get over his COVID-19 symptoms, it has taken much longer for him to heal from his fight with Michaela. Some fans think that the couple's habit of arguing made Zack give up on his relationship. Although Zack and Michaela have stayed together since their initial arguments, Zack continues to show signs that he's not very committed to his marriage. In a session with Dr. Viviana Coles, Zack explained that he's still mistrusting Michaela due to her behavior in their first squabbles. After expressing his doubts, Zack canceled movie night with his wife and opted to stay away from Michaela for the night. Overall, fans had a lot to say about what Zack's cancelation really means.
After watching Zack's attitude toward his relationship in a recent episode, fans took to Twitter to express their frustration with the groom.
