The show covers all things pop culture as well as Bravo shenanigans, but for a late-night show focused on TV, celebrities, and gossip, Cohen has been able to pull some top-notch guests, including the likes of Anderson Cooper, Oprah, and various political figures.

10 Andy Has A Blacklist
Having more than 18 seasons on a late-night talk show is an amazing feat, but not every guest on the show has been a dream. According to People, Cohen hasn't had the best experiences with certain guests and decided it was best to make a blast list for the show. “There are a few people. And you would be surprised, there are a few people who we have deemed ‘not worth the trouble,’" Cohen said. And while Cohen didn't drop any names, he noted that none of the stars on his blacklist are from Bravo reality TV shows.

Fans on Reddit and other forms of social media have praised their favorite Bravo-lebrities for years, and love seeing their interviews on WWHL. However, as is the case with most talk shows, there are some guest interviews that flunked in all areas.
According to Best Life, when Cohen was asked who his worst guest on WWHL was, he said it was model Amber Rose. "Amber Rose came on and she didn't want to answer any of the questions I was asking her. And she was wearing sunglasses," the talk show host said. Amber knew the interview wasn't going well and even asked him on air if she was the "worst guest ever."

When Cohen's assistant Daryn interviewed him for some behind-the-scenes questions, she asked who his favorite guest was. After thinking about it for a while, he said he was stuck between Cher and Oprah. "It would be either Cher or Oprah. Ch-Oprah," he said.

According to E! Online, Cohen said there are a few guests on his show that indulged a bit excessively. Actors Jussie Smollett, Rosie Perez, and Gabby Sidibe allegedly got tipsy on-air, as did host Ricki Lake.

5 The WWHL Work Schedule Starts At 5 P.M.
Watch What Happens Live isn't the longest-running talk show, but it is successful in its own right on Bravo. In 2019, a WWHL staff member, T. Kyle MacMahon, detailed his daily schedule on the show and how it runs smoothly every night.
According to MacMahon, he gets to the WWHL offices at 5 p.m. to prepare for the show, which begins rolling at 11 p.m.. For his job in social media, he doesn't leave the WWHL offices until around 2 a.m., then repeats it all the next day. Everyone working behind-the-scenes works diligently, especially with the show taking place being in front of a live audience.
4 Andy Cohen Isn't Just A Great Host But A Great Boss Too
One of the reasons why Andy Cohen is such a great host is because of how lovable and transparent he is. Like many of the people he interviews, Cohen doesn't hold back and truly listens to those he's speaking with. Cohen would be a prime host of the Oscars one day if he's given the chance.
T. Kyle MacMahon, a staffer from Watch What Happens Live, noted that Cohen is incredibly "inspiring." Cohen made a name for himself after years of hard work and encourages those around him. MacMahon noted that even though Cohen is the host, he knows everyhing that's happening behind-the-scenes, which can make things "nervewracking."
3 The One Question Andy Regrets Asking
With more than 1,800 episodes and 18 seasons, there are thousands of questions that Cohen has asked in interviews over the years. The juicy questions he poses to his guests are why his talk show has a solid scoring on IMDb. However, not every question of Cohen's was accepted.
When Cohen asked two guests if there was one question they regreted asking as hosts, he said his biggest regret was with the one and only Oprah. "I asked Oprah if she's ever swam in the lady pond with a minute left of the show," he said with an embarrassed look on his face. Oprah denied ever being with a woman before and was a good sport about it.
2 It's Emmy-Nominated
Watch What Happens Live has been nominated at the Glaad Media Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, and even the Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards, but it never took home a trophy. Shockingly, the talk show was even nominated for the Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media Within An Unscripted Program award at the 2018 Emmys. Sadly, WWHL didn't take hme the Emmy, but its nomination is an amazing accomplishment.
1 The One Guest Andy Is Salty With
For Andy Cohen's 50th birthday, his close friend, musician John Mayer, surprised him on set as the host for the evening. Mayer asked Cohen a bunch of questions, including which guest he was the saltiest with because they refuse to be on the show. Cohen mentioned there were a bunch of stars he'd love to have on the show but they have yet to appear. The one person he's saltiest with, however, is former First Lady Michelle Obama. Because of his love for and dedication to the Obama family, Cohen is the most upset over her declining a spot on his chair.
