Fortnite Streamer Uses Cuttlefish To Make an In-Game Car Bomb

A Fortnite player has taken resourcefulness into their own hands by crafting an in-game car bomb with cuttlefish. Season 6 launched earlier this week and the new season emphasizes a wild theme that is on show throughout the game's core elements and crossover content. Chapter 2 of Season 6 is immersing players deeper than ever before into the battle royale's complex story. It has been rewarding to see that the game's crossover characters have a major role to play as the plot thickens.  Characters like Lara Croft and Raven were not brought in to simply act as mere side figures and cosmetic DLC. It has also been enjoyable to watch original Fortnite characters become integral as the series progresses.

Each Fortnite season connects to the last in one way or another, and Season 6 has been no different. Fortnite Season 5 focused on the exploits of Agent Jonesy and his efforts to prevent other characters from entering the Zero Point. This led to Agent Jonesy teaming up with popular crossover characters for additional help. Considering that Season 6 added several new locations, a fresh battle pass and a crafting system, it is easy to imagine that the introduction of "Cuddle Fish" went under the radar. These fish offer players another tool in their quest to dominate the battle royale. The squid-like fish closely resembles real-life cuttlefish. They function as explosives and can be used in a variety of ways, whether as proximity mines or as sticky bombs thrown at other players.

One Fortnite player has made the most of this new weapon. Reddit user thesquatingdog posted a video that illustrates how effective Cuddle Fish can be. The video begins with the streamer driving a truck that is covered in Cuddle Fish. The truck approaches an enemy and in one swift movement, the player exits the moving vehicle and shoots the Cuddle Fish. This causes a large explosion that takes out the closest opponent.

Cuddle Fish can be found in any body of water, including lakes, rivers and oceans. They come in a variety of colors like blue, orange and green. Since launching in 2017, Fortnite has developed a reputation for its crossover content. This has resulted in impressive collaborations featuring iconic characters such as Master Chief from Halo, Kratos from God of War and more recently, The Mandalorian.

Season 6 and its primal theme is already extremely popular with the game's ever-growing player base. Time is of the essence and players are scrambling to tap into all of the new content that is on offer. It's not unrealistic to predict that more players may try to utilize Cuddle Fish to their advantage in the near future.
