Big Brother: Da'Vonne Urges Fans To Stop Encouraging Wall Yellers

America's Favorite Houseguest winner Da'Vonne Rogers urges the fans to stop encouraging wall yellers on future seasons of Big Brother. The fans first fell in love with Da'Vonne when she competed on Big Brother 17 and had some of the best reads of the season. Despite being evicted somewhat early, Da'Vonne's exit from the house also turned out to be extremely iconic. A year later, the producers decided to bring her back to compete on BB18, along with other returning houseguests Nicole Franzel, James Huling, and Frank Eudy. This time, Da'Vonne made it to the jury and was able to cast a vote for Nicole to win the season.

Over the years, Da'Vonne Rogers solidified her status as a Big Brother legend, and the fans kept urging production to bring her back once again. Da's triumphant return finally happened in 2020, when CBS announced her as one of the castmates for Big Brother 22: All-Stars. Unfortunately, Da'Vonne's game was yet again compromised by a large and dominant alliance that refused to include her. And yet, she still made it to the jury phase and was able to cast a vote for Cody Calafiore to win the $500,000 grand prize unanimously. At the finale, Da'Vonne was voted by the fans to win the title of America's Favorite Houseguest.

While she was left out of the Committee alliance on Big Brother: All-Stars, Da'Vonne just isn't a fan of fans that drive to the BB house and yell information over the wall to benefit their favorite players. This seems to have happened a few times on BB22 - most notably when a fan yelled out, "Nicole and Cody are playing everyone." Despite the fact that Da'Vonne could have benefited from the information that she was given, she makes it clear that sharing such information does not help them in the game. Da'Vonne said in her latest video on her YouTube channel: "Y'all, stop doing that. Stop yelling. I get it, you wanna help out your faves, but you guys sometimes do more harm than good. Because when they shut us down [from the backyard], it's a mental thing. (...) It doesn't help. It does not help. It doesn't. I promise you. Thank you for the information, but it didn't help."

Da'Vonne isn't the first or the last person to make the point that wall yellers have a negative effect on Big Brother. But with so much downtime that everyone had during the quarantine in 2020, it seemed like that situation almost got out of control on Big Brother 22: All-Stars. Alas, the fans will probably avoid it from here on out, particularly after hearing from someone like Da'Vonne that yelling information over the wall isn't even helpful.

The fans are looking forward to watching Big Brother 23. The summer of 2021 can't get here any sooner!
