Every season, Jimmy Kimmel's wife Molly Kimmel makes a prediction of who will be the final pick on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Molly has a great track record, and she just made her pick for Matt's top three women. If her prediction is anything to go by, some standouts from the premiere will be making it far.
Jimmy Kimmel loves making the current Bachelor or Bachelorette squirm by revealing his wife's predictions in front of them while they try and maintain a poker face. Jimmy credits his wife Molly with the predictions, and Molly is a wise woman. She almost always gets the winners right. For instance, she predicted that Jed Wyatt would be Hannah Brown's final pick, that Cassie Randolph would be Colton Underwood's final pick, and that Peter Weber would pick Hannah Ann, which he did, for a brief moment. In fact, Molly has guessed correctly seven times over the last nine seasons. The insanity that was last season of The Bachelorette proved to be too much for her, however, and she guessed that Ben Smith would be Tayshia's final choice. Zac Clark, who ended up winning Tayshia's heart and her final rose, was in Molly's top four at least.
Jimmy once again turned to his wife Molly after the first episode of Matt James's season of The Bachelor aired. Jimmy showed Matt photographs of the women as he told him who he thought would be Matt's top three. First up was Bri Springs, the communications manager from San Francisco. Then came Abigail Heringer, who Matt gave his first impression rose to during the first episode. The third woman and Molly's pick as Matt's bride was Rachael Kirkconnel, a graphic designer from Cumming, Georgia. Their entire interaction can be watched below.
Matt James did manage to keep a straight face during the mentioning of Bri and Rachael, but he couldn't stop himself from smiling when Abigail's name came up. During the premiere, Abigail was open with Matt about being hearing impaired and wearing a cochlear implant, and the fans quickly began rooting for her. With Reality Steve struggling to nail down spoilers this season, Molly's predictions may actually be closer to reality than Reality Steve.
Knowing Molly Kimmel's excellent track record for picking winners, supposedly based just on looking at them, this season's The Bachelor top three may indeed be just who Molly predicted. Or Matt could shock us all and choose someone who's flown under the radar thus far. With five new women joining the cast after next week, anything could happen.
