Cobra Kai: 10 Questions We Have After Watching Season 3

Season 3 of Cobra Kai did not pull any punches, increasing the tension between the dojos and fueling more anger among rivals. The series goes back to the basics with the return of several prominent characters from The Karate Kid movies. Rivalries were also reevaluated, with some becoming more amicable, but others remaining intense as ever. Surprisingly, the season also saw some characters switching sides, with some either regaining their virtue or losing their way.

This is not the end of Cobra Kai, as tensions have only risen between the dojos. With the already announced season 4 renewal, the third season built the plot with another All-Valley Tournament. However, the third season left us with more questions as to what is to come.

10 Who Did Kreese Call For Help?

Following the exhilarating season 3 finale, as all three sensei put their bets on the All-Valley Tournament, and it looks likes it will be all hands on deck for John Kreese to defeat the two allied dojos. Building up to this moment, Kreese had his backstory during his times in the Vietnam War, where he befriended a colleague.

Questions remain as to who the veteran is that he called in the final moments and his experience in helping Kreese. Is the person Terry Silvers, his former Cobra Kai dojo partner? If so, could Mike Barnes make a return as well?

9 Will Aisha Robinson Return In Season 4?

Before the trailers were released for season 3, actress Nichole Brown, who played Aisha Robinson, confirmed that she was not returning in the third season. The main reason was that her character did not have a significant role in season 3.

Her character was written out, with her parents sending her off to a private school and even putting up their house for sale. However, this news does not mean that Aisha could be totally out of the picture. Characters like Yasmin and Kyler were absent for a whole season, only to return the following season. Will Aisha come back? There is a chance for her to return in the fourth season if the opportunity arises.

8 What Is In The Miyagi-Do Artifact?

Part of the third season's story focused on Daniel traveling to Okinawa, Japan, and reminiscing about his time there since he last visited. While he caught up with his ex-girlfriend, Kimiko, Daniel also came across an older rival, Chozen.

Fortunately, Chozen changed as a person since The Karate Kid Part II. Furthermore, he inherited all the possessions of Miyagi-Do Karate. While sharing a few deep secrets regarding Miyagi-Do, Chozen was also kind enough to give Daniel a parting gift - a Miyagi-Do artifact. What exactly is in the artifact and what else has Mr. Miyagi hid from Daniel regarding karate?

7 Is This The Last Of Ali Mills?

After waiting for so long, fans had their wishes granted when Ali Mills finally showed up in the spin-off series. In the third season, she returns home to Encino to celebrate Christmas with her parents, considering she separated from her husband not too long ago.

Not only does she catch up with Johnny and Daniel, but she also is the third party that helped settle their long-lasting feud since high school. Although Johnny decides to be with Carmen over Ali, does this mean that this is the last of Ali Mills we see in the series?

6 Will The Alliance Be Smooth Between Johnny And Daniel?

After realizing that they share a common enemy, Johnny and Daniel finally ended their feud (for now) and have merged their dojos to one at Mr. Miyagi's dojo. This is perhaps the alliance that all fans have been waiting for since the season 2 finale.

Although everything looks peaceful and friendly, anything could happen between now and the fourth season. The final episode already hinted at issues between the two dojos regarding their philosophies and fighting styles. Could this conflict foreshadow what is to come for the alliance in the fourth season? Is the alliance too good to be true, with two strong sensei due to be headbutting each other for power?

5 What Further Complications Will Occur In The Love Triangle?

The final moments of season 2 only occurred due to the complicated love relationship between Sam, Robby, Miguel, and Tory. Sam and Miguel have reconciled their relationship, not without leaving their former exes out to dry. Both Robby and Tory were betrayed by their exes, giving them more reasons to have a full grudge and vendetta.

The latest season also shows an alliance forming between the two broken-hearted souls, with Robby switching sides with Cobra Kai. Considering that Robby and Tory have a lot in common, will they evolve their relationship to something more romantic? Will Robby still have feelings for Sam in the fourth season and vice versa? Will Robby and Miguel's rivalry once again reignite in season 4, considering its pause in the third season?

4 Could The Miyagi-Do Power Move Be Vital In Season 4?

In the mind-blowing and most-awaited karate fight between Johnny and Kreese, Johnny overpowered Kreese, technically making Johnny the winning fighter. However, as Johnny tries to communicate and accidentally knocks out his son, Kreese came from behind and tried to kill him, only for Daniel to save him.

Daniel finally got his taste of fighting against Kreese. Of course, Daniel's new lessons in Okinawa did not go to waste as he utilized the Miyagi-Do move to paralyze Kreese. Unfortunately, as Daniel was moments from completing his final move, he was stopped by Miguel and Sam. Although it is not clear if Daniel intended to finish him, this may not be the last of the move.

3 Is There A Chance For Robby To Change Sides?

Robby's story arc became even more complicated with his arrest and unfortunate change in affiliation from Daniel to Kreese. Robby still has a good heart inside him, but he is angered and betrayed by his sensei and father. Interestingly, Robby's story arc resembles Anakin Skywalker and Palpatine's relationship in Star Wars, where Robby turns to the dark side.

However, it is not the first time that any karate fighter ended up in Cobra Kai to have a change of heart. Johnny started his life with Cobra Kai before realizing how dangerous it was. Daniel has been in this exact position when he trained with Cobra Kai, eventually realizing it was a big mistake. Could there still be hope for Robby to change by understanding the true nature of Cobra Kai?

2 Who Will Win The Next All-Valley Tournament?

The third season finale set the premise for the fourth season, with all dojos preparing for the All-Valley Tournament. However, stakes are higher than ever as dojos wage their bets and conditions, with dojo's existence on the line. Specifically, if either Daniel or Johnny's students can win at the tournament, Kreese is gone for good.

There are a few standouts that could make it to the finals and win. Robby, Tory, Sam, and Hawk appear as shoo-ins to make it to the quarterfinals, while it remains uncertain if Miguel can gain his strength back in time to defend his title. Out of all the competitors, who will claim victory for their dojo? This will perhaps leave viewers nail-biting for a while until the fourth season.

1 Will Season 4 Be The Last?

Even before Netflix released its first look at season 3, it also announced that a fourth season was confirmed and the third season set up the events for it with the All-Valley Tournament. Although fans would love to see the action continue even past the fourth season, the current circumstances could potentially lead to the show's conclusion sooner than most would have hoped.

With Johnny and Daniel now friends and Kreese as the ultimate villain, it appears that things could end at the All-Valley Tournament. Unless a new conflict arises in the fourth season, could the series end on the fourth season?
