Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr have shared their reconciliation one week after Sabrina announced their brief split. Sabrina and the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared a coupled-up selfie to celebrate their one-year engagement anniversary.
Just last week, Sabrina took to her Instagram Story to call off her engagement with NBA champion Lamar Odom. The couple went public with their relationship in August 2019 and got engaged three months later. While they seemed to be happy while preparing for their nuptials, Sabrina shocked fans and supporters when she shared on social media, "I am no longer engaged to Lamar." Lamar opted to remain silent on the breakup announcement. A few days after announcing their split, Sabrina reposted a cryptic message about Lamar's ex-wife Khloé Kardashian. The move appeared to symbolize she was done with Lamar for good, much like his reality star ex.
However, it appears Lamar and Sabrina were able to work out their differences. On Wednesday night, the two shared the same photo on their Instagram Story that showed Sabrina sitting on Lamar's lap while he kissed her. "Made it in time to celebrate our 1-year engagement anniversary," she captioned the selfie and tagged her fiancé. Lamar reposted the photo to his Instagram page, as captured by Tea Served Cold. Their anniversary celebration comes one week after Sabrina announced the "difficult" decision she made to leave the former NBA player. At the time, she said it was the best decision "for myself and my children." The message was posted a few days after Lamar's November 6 birthday.
The former pro athlete has openly struggled with addiction issues in the past. He was in a coma in 2015 after suffering an overdose while at a Nevada brothel. At the time, Khloé was by his side as they were still legally married. The two divorced in 2013, but it wasn't finalized until 2016. They married in 2009, just one month after meeting. When announcing their split, Sabrina did not mention the exact reason, but did hint at the "things" Lamar "has to work through." She acknowledged that she "loves him dearly," but said she can "no longer be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs."
Their anniversary post shows the work the couple appears to be doing to keep their relationship intact. The couple reportedly has a November 2021 wedding date set. It looks like they intend on making it down the aisle.
