The trailer for Fortnite's long-awaited Last laugh Bundle containing The Joker, Poison Ivy, and Midas Rex skins has leaked a week before the skins are set to release. These DC villain skins were announced a few months ago, and the new trailer gives players a sneak peek at what's in store when The Joker and Poison Ivy run rampant in the streets of Fortnite.
The Last Laugh Bundle was announced in August of this year, three months before its scheduled release. This retail bundle will include two of DC's most infamous villains: The Joker and Poison Ivy. It also comes with a new Midas skin, a plethora of other cosmetic items, and 1,000 V-Bucks. The bundle will be available for purchase both physically and digitally for console players, but Epic Games has yet to announce how PC and mobile players will be able to purchase this bundle.
As is customary when Fortnite releases a special skin bundle, the skins are showcased in a flashy cinematic trailer. This was the case when the X-Force skins were released, and has been the case for the start of every season. While the trailer usually airs the day the skins release, the Last Laugh Bundle's trailer has leaked ahead of schedule. Thanks to well-known Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey, the trailer for the bundle was uploaded to Twitter. It shows The Joker, Poison Ivy, and Midas Rex in action, and also gives a glimpse at a few of the extra cosmetic items.
However, even players who do not intend to purchase the bundle have something to take away from the trailer: C4 is likely coming back. The ridiculous explosive power of C4 has been removed from Fortnite for a while, but it seems safe to assume that it will be returning come November 17. The leaked Last Laugh trailer showed more of C4 being used than it did of the actual characters. DC fans will rejoice as they have recently been inundated with Marvel skins, but professional Fortnite players will rejoice or complain about the return of C4.
Having some of the most iconic superheroes from Marvel make their appearances in Fortnite has been a treat, but there are also plenty of DC characters that would be awesome to have join the roster of skins. Superman, Martian Manhunter, and The Flash would make great additions to Fortnite, but for now, DC fans are getting a couple of villains to hold them over. It will be interesting to see how The Avengers fair against Batman's mortal enemies.
