A lot has been happening in the lives of Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, including Deavan's recent confession that Taeyang could make ber big bucks someday. While Deavan and Jihoon's long-distance relationship was not smooth sailing at any point, the problems escalated when Deavan moved to South Korea. One of the main issues between the 90 Day Fiancé pair is their son, Taeyang. While Jihoon claims Deavan is keeping Taeyang from him, Deavan is focusing on her financial future.
Since Deavan’s return to America, the allegations she and Jihoon have directed at each other have confused and shocked many 90 Day Fiancé fans. What started off with Deavan revealing that she’d broken up with her Korean husband over the alleged “vile things” he’d done, soon took a drastic turn for the worse, as new and damaging allegations came to light. According to Deavan, Jihoon was never a responsible enough father. Deavan's claims that he allegedly hurt baby Taeyang and pulled her daughter Drascilla’s hair were alarming. Deavan also mentioned that Jihoon had blocked all contact, but Jihoon Lee posts about Taeyang often. Deavan thinks he’s doing it for sympathy, and somewhere down the line, some 90 Day Fiancé fans suggested that the Korean man may not be trying hard enough. However, an interview that Deavan did in June showed her making questionable remarks about Taeyang, which have also raised questions.
The 90 Day Fiancé star was a guest on Big Mood. In the video, Deavan spoke about the show and how it unfairly portrayed her as a Korean culture-obsessed “Koreaboo.” She felt she was edited to make it appear as though she had a fetish for Korean men. Deavan also suggested that the production team would egg her on and ask questions she felt, “were tailor-made to make her look bad.” She added, “They coax you and it’s all in the editing which is unfortunate.” The 90 Day Fiancé celeb mentioned that she has been studying Korean for two years. She also had notes to share about Taeyang’s “lighter skin tone.” One of the questions asked during Deavan’s interview was about people in America not believing that she was Taeyang’s mother, to which she replied, “No I get that, I get that in Korea but it’s for a different reason.” Deavan, 23, confessed that because she’s so young, she “actually got stuck in customs” on her way back home. “They wouldn’t let me leave [because they thought I was stealing a baby],” the 90 Day Fiancé personality shared. A host then mentioned that it could have been because of Taeyang’s fair complexion, which Deavan agreed with by saying, “Dude I know, he’s way white, like what the hell. I got scr*wed. Dude, he’s so white!” The professional model further exclaimed, “Dude I know, I was like, I’m so excited, I’m looking at all these cute Korean babies. Then I get a blonde! I get a blonde Asian!” However, Deavan also declared, “No, it’s good, he’ll make me lots of money in the future.”
The young mother recently celebrated Halloween with boyfriend Chris “Topher” Park, She and Topher chose The Purge-inspired costumes. While Deavan battles pregnancy and engagement rumors, there’s also an absurd theory that’s been doing the rounds in the 90 Day Fiancé community. Certain fans believe that Topher is Taeyang’s father, rather than Jihoon. Deavan earlier remarked that she met her new man while flying to Korea for the first time, which was when she was already pregnant.
Fans are curious about what Deavan meant when she talked about making money from Taeyang. Her other comments have also grabbed eyeballs. It's possible the tot might grow up to be a model just like his 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way mom.
