NBC's hit procedural primetime drama, Chicago P.D.premiered on the network in 2014 as a mid-season replacement. In February of 2020, it was announced that the series, created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead, had been picked up for an eighth, ninth, and tenth season.

The series follows the Intelligence Unit of the 21st district of the Chicago Police Department. Every episode brings a new crime for the detectives to solve and gives viewers more information on the officers solving the crimes. The first seven seasons are available to stream through NBC and select seasons are available on Hulu; however, if someone is looking for something to play on movie night, here are a few films that fans of this series will love.

10 The Departed

This crime drama, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jack Nicholson, is set in Boston, Massachusetts. It tells the story of an Irish mob boss, Frank Costello, who devises a plan and plants a mole within the Massachusetts State Police Department.
