While it is a show led by male characters and most of the show's time is spent on them, Sons of Anarchy isn't without a female presence. From the manipulative and headstrong Gemma to the recovering addict Wendy, and badass federal agent Stahl to the ravishing transgender escort Venus, Sons of Anarchy has a wide array of female characters. It's only a shame the women in the world surrounding the SAMCRO biker gang didn't get more development.
Here are twelve of the women in Sons of Anarchy, and their best suited zodiac signs.
12 Aries: Wendy Case
Aries is the sign of someone who is adventurous and enthusiastic, if not somewhat selfish and impulsive. That is Wendy Case to a T. Wendy is a loving mother who wants what's best for her son Abel, but often struggles to effectively help them and take them out of the dangerous world of their father. While at times she's frustrating to audiences, by the end of the series everyone was on her side, and happy to see her take custody of Abel and Thomas. Wendy Case is our Taurus.
11 Taurus: Tara
Tara is the rock for many characters on the show, most notably her husband Jax. Throughout all of the SAMCRO's nefarious activities, she is the one person guiding the crew, even in minor ways, to be better people. She's a loving mother, a patient wife (although she deserved better), and one of the few people in the show who is truly a good person.
It's only when she's at her wit's end with Jax that she attempts to leave him, but only out of desperation to help Abel and Thomas. Her consistent patience and attempts to give the boys better lives make Tara a clear Taurus.
10 Gemini: Ally Lowen
It takes someone who intelligent, adaptable, and communicative to be a lawyer. Even more so when you're a lawyer representing people involved in a criminal biker gang. She first serves as counsel for Gemma while she is under investigation for the murders of Polly Zobelle and Edmond Hayes, and later helping Tara navigate her attempts to divorce Jax, all the while showing the quick wit and fierce intelligence of a Gemini.
9 Cancer: Gemma
Intuitive if not emotional, and protective to a fault. That describes the badass matriarch of SAMCRO, Gemma Teller, perfectly. Played by Katey Sagal, Gemma is heavily involved with the all-male bike gang's activities, often manipulating and organizing from behind the scenes, either for the good of the club, of Jax, or sometimes for herself.
She rarely listens to others and has trouble facing the consequences for her actions, but very often has only the best intentions at heart. Or, as noble as someone involved in SAMCRO can be.
8 Leo: Lyla Winston
Porn actress, devoted wife, and single mother. Lyla Winston is a mainstay supporter of the club, and a hard worker for the associated porn studio. Lyla is creative, generous, and open-minded in the way she conducts herself. She dedicates herself to being a good person, despite all of the chaos and violence around her. This faithfulness to being a good person shows what a Leo Lyla Winston can be.
7 Virgo: Margaret Murphy
Hospital administrator Margaret Murphy is one of the few people in the show not directly involved in serious criminal activities or the law enforcement trying to stop them. She serves as somewhat of a mother figure to Tara, giving practical advice and attempting to guide her career in a positive direction. It's this rare compassion in the show that makes Margaret Murphy stand out as a character, and makes her a clear Virgo.
6 Libra: Tyne Patterson
Tyne Patterson, the idealistic and diplomatic District Attorney serve as a recurring antagonist to the gang and their criminal cohorts, becoming a regular for season 6. Tyne is a powerful women with the wisdom to know how precisely to use her power to disrupt the illegal operations in her jurisdiction. This is until she sees the greater good that could come from working with the club to disrupt their competitor's criminal enterprises, leading to a situation better for everyone. She's diplomatic, she's intuitive, and she's obviously the show's Libra.
5 Scorpio: Officer Jarry
Although Lieutenant Althea Jarry is only in the show for the last season, she left a big impression on the audience. She's determined and powerful, coming into Charming with a plan to make things better for the town. She heeds much of the elder Unser's advice, learning how SAMCRO operates, and how to use her abilities for the greater good.
But she's not without her softer side, as she does begin a romantic entanglement with Chibs. This strength for her work and her passion for her personal life is something any Scorpio can relate to.
4 Sagittarius: Ima Tite
Local adult film star Ima Tite often serves as a friend to the club, but is a thorn in Tara's side. She regularly tries to insert herself into the personal lives of the men around her, going as far as cheating with Jax on Tara and with Opie on Lyla. While the show often treats her as a conniving sex object (a crime this show does with most of it's female characters), Ima is shown as a woman who knows what she wants, and has the impulsive attitude of any Sagittarius to actually go for it.
3 Capricorn: June Stahl
The practical, hardworking, and driven Agent June Stahl is a shoe-in as the show's female Capricorn. Serving as the show's primary antagonist for the first three seasons, Agent Stahl works consistently and diligently to undermine the criminal activities of Jax and the rest of SAMCRO. She's not above lying and manipulating in order to get her way, often leading to dire consequences for those around her, but she does it for what she believes to be the greater good. A force of absolute will and determination throughout her run, June Stahl is our Capricorn.
2 Aquarius: Venus Van Dam
Showing up halfway through Season 5 to help the Sons blackmail a local businessman was the the vivacious, friendly, loving, and eccentric escort Venus. She crosses paths with them later, needing their help to find her son, and ends up sparking a romantic relationship with Tig. Throughout her tenure associated with the Sons, she proves herself to be a creative and loving person, traits shared with any Aquarius.
1 Pisces: Luann Delaney
Owner of the local porn business, Luann Delaney serves as a regular business partner to SAMCRO. She loans them money when they need it and provides a good life for herself and her husband, but is used as a pawn by Agent Stahl in her operations against the gang.
Both in her business dealings and her personal life, Luann is shown to be a very creative and compassionate person, despite her skimming off the top of her business for years. This creativity shows the kind of Pisces that Luann is.
