Kanye West is not new to erratic behavior, but Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian has stayed relatively quiet about this for some time. That all changed when the 43-year-old rapper went on an overnight Twitter rant, most of which was directed toward Kim herself, as well the Kardashian clan matriarch, Kris Jenner. All of this culminated in Kim finally taking the issue to an Instagram story. She addressed her own personal take on it.
Kanye's actions appear to be getting more and more spontaneous as time goes on. All of this is clearly wearing on his family... and his professional career. What's really been a heavy hitter in the world of Kanye news is the announcement that he wants to be U.S. president. This is something that didn't get the warmest reception. His first and only rally took place in South Carolina and it perfectly exemplified the star's seeming decline. At one point, he stated that Mother Teresa did not help free slaves... and instead gave them to other white people. The crowd quickly turned on him and he soon tweeted that he was going to stick to making music. However, just days later, the rapper and KUWTK star's antics continued on Twitter.
Kim finally responded to these antics in a long-winded Instagram Story, according to The Sun, in which she acknowledged his bipolar disorder and also defended her husband. In it, she referred to Kanye as a "brilliant, but complicated" man and asked for everyone to be supportive and kind while he goes through this difficult time. Despite Kim Kardashian being the target of much of Kanye's Twitter explosion (in which he referred to Kim and her mother Kris as "white supremacists"), her Instagram Story suggested that the Keeping Up With the Kardashian family has felt powerless throughout this drama. Her Instagram post was meaningful, and Kim is a survivor who will always bounce back.
Some of Kanye's Tweets referred to his friend and fellow rapper Meek Mill, who met up with Kim in 2018 to discuss prison reform, something Kim is very passionate about. In one tweet, Kanye mentioned how betrayed he felt by this and claimed that he's been trying to divorce Kim ever since. The two of them have had an active role in politics as of late, with Kim pushing for reform while working on her law degree and Kanye befriending sitting president Donald Trump. According to yet another one of Kanye's tweets, Kim has supposedly asked Kanye to drop out of the race himself or "face divorce" following a claim Kanye made about him stopping Kim from aborting their daughter North.
It isn't known if the celebrity couple is getting divorced or not, but if the Instagram post is any indication, it seems that Kim is instead working hard to help Kanye through this difficult time. On top of that, her goal seems to be aimed toward de-stigmatizing bipolar disorder as a whole, as it has not impeded her husband in his achievements. It seems the two Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars are working things out.
