10 The People Behind The Short

Eagles Are Turning People Into Horse is a short that took everybody by storm in 2011. It was created by two actors and comedians known as BriTANik: Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher. Both run a YouTube channel that is named after the combination of their names. With this, they upload their hilarious sketches.

Brian and Nick met while studying at New York University and there they formed a friendship thanks to their similar sense of humor. Eventually, they would start working together, creating content for the internet and participating in festivals such as the SF Sketchfest.

They created a YouTube channel where they could upload all their creations, and in doing so, they started to amass an audience. The Avengers director and creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Joss Whedon became aware of their shorts and struck a friendship with the creators. Eventually, Whedon invited them to act in his movie adaptation of Shakespeare Much Ado About Nothing.

4 They Have Featured Stars In Their Shorts

BriTANik was one of the first YouTube channels to feature Hollywood big names in their videos. Today, this is more common, but on those days it was something to pay attention to. 1 They've Continued Working On Their Youtube Channel

Despite growing into their careers, Brian and Nick haven't forgotten their YouTube channel, where, in a sense, everything started for them. However, the production of shorts is not as prolific as it once was.

Only in 2020, they have released a short called Dating App Writers Room, and last year there were only two shorts released called Accidental Text and The Mistery. They may have lowered the number of videos, but the quality has gone up.
