Which Star Trek Picard Character Are You Based On Your Zodiac?

Star Trek: Picard marked the return of Patrick Stewart to the role that made him a household name; Jean-Luc Picard, once the stalwart captain of the Enterprise-D on Star Trek: The Next Generation. The plot picks up twenty years after his last appearance in the film Star Trek: Nemesis, with the appearance of a mysterious woman in distress sparking the need to save the galaxy.

The series introduced many new dynamic characters as well as saw the return of many fan-favorites. Like with any installment to the Star Trek franchise, fans began to identify with the cast, from the dynamic Captain Rios, to the conspiracy-plagued Raffi, and the neurotic Dr. Agnes Jurati. But how do they resonate with the signs of the zodiac?

12 ARIES - WILLIAM RIKER

Once the first officer aboard the Enterprise-D under Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation, William Riker served with distinction and bravery on countless away missions. He was admired for his confidence, and beloved for his infectious enthusiasm and love of the trombone.

Ever the Aries, Riker could occasionally be selfish and impulsive in his youth, but any foolhardy behavior was tempered by his dedication to his captain, which was immediately apparent when he was reunited with Picard after so many years.

11 TAURUS - RAFFI

Once a distinguished officer in Starfleet and colleague to Captain Picard, Raffi Mosiker was eventually drummed out of the organization for siding with Picard's opposition to the Federation withdrawing from the Romulan Refugee Effort. It took a toll on her mental health and she began to abuse substances to self-medicate.

Like a Taurus, Raffi could be a patient, warm-hearted, and loving person. If her feelings went unrequited however, she had a tendency to withdraw. Her determination and persistence trumped her exclusionary habits, and many of her conspiracy theories turned out to be correct.

10 GEMINI - ELNOR

A young Romulan refugee raised among the Qowat Milat on Vashti, Elnor grew up encouraged to experience the full essence of his emotions, and unlike most of the secretive Romulans, to follow The Way of Absolute Candor.

Like many Gemini, Elnor shared what was on his mind unconditionally. There was an eloquent simplicity to his words, and he showed wisdom beyond his years. His youthful innocence appeared in amusing ways as he experienced the rest of the galaxy with Picard, causing many to underestimate his cunning.

9 CANCER - DEANNA TROI

Deanna Troi served aboard the Enterprise-D  as the ship's counselor under Captain Picard, using her telepathic abilities as a Betazoid to intuitively perceive the emotional state of both her fellow crew members and any new life they encountered.

Renowned for her compassion, intelligence, and sympathetic nature, Troi had an innate ability to anticipate the best course of action for all those under her care. Though she could also be moody and blunt, her perspective proved invaluable to Picard when he arrived at her doorstep.

8 LEO - NARISSA RIZZO

A Tal Shiar colonel working from within Starfleet as a lieutenant under Commodore Oh, Narissa had followed Oh (herself a plant) and joined the Zhat Vash. Committing herself to the Conclave of Eight, she worked tirelessly to wipe out all synthetic life, believing it to be tied to an ancient Romulan Armageddon legend.

Like most Leos, her loyalty was unquestionable. Unlike most of the centurions beneath her, she could see the "bigger picture", and was resolute in her duties to prevent the impending apocalypse. Sharp-tongued, bossy, and intolerant of failure, her arrogance was ultimately her undoing.

7 VIRGO - DATA

The first android to ever join Starfleet, Commander Data once served on the bridge of the Enterprise-D. He became a close friend of Captain Picard's, often drawing him into intricate discussions about what it meant to be human. Although Data could never feel true emotions, he approximated all other behavior as best he could, and loved the crew as much as he was able.

A true Virgo, Data was highly practical. When he visited Picard in his dreams, he encouraged his former captain to critically consider all possibilities, even those not immediately apparent. Though he sometimes criticized himself for failing in his attempt to be human, at the end of his life he understood that in failing he was at his most human.

6 LIBRA - CRISTOBAL RIOS

A former Starfleet officer aboard the USS ibn Majid, Cristobal Rios left the organization after he witnessed his captain take his own life. After acquiring the merchant vessel La Sirena, he became the captain and the crew. Holograms throughout the ship took the place of most practical crew members.

Though initially gruff to Picard on their first meeting, Captain Rios's adventurous nature soon emerged - paid enough, he was willing to take Picard wherever his mission required. Though he feigned interest in social activities, he was quite the philosopher when pressed.

5 SCORPIO - NAREK

Narek was a Romulan operative that maneuvered himself into a position of prominence aboard the Artifact, an abandoned Borg cube acquired by the Romulans. He sought out the affections of Dr. Soji Asha, who was working as part of the Borg Reclamation Project, in an effort to make her spill Federation intelligence.

In true Scorpio fashion, Narek was emotionally intuitive, forceful, and determined. Even as he manipulated Soji's feelings, his obsession with her went far beyond his objective. He was intensely private, and his secrecy only made him more magnetic to her. Some part of him let Soji in, and despite his allegiance, he couldn't remain in the shadows forever.

4 SAGITTARIUS - SOJI

Dr. Soji Asha never expected to be embroiled in a Romulan plot to wipe out all synthetic life. She certainly never expected to find out that she was a synthetic herself.

Like most Sagittarius, Soji was straight-forward and independent, and took great pride in her research. She valued an intellect to match her own, which explained her fascination with the enigmatic Narek. Unfortunately, because she was careless and blindly optimistic, she never believed he could deceive her.

3 CAPRICORN - COMMODORE OH

Commodore Oh, also known as General Nedar of the Romulan Empire, was a Romulan operative who infiltrated Starfleet in the 24th century. A member of the secretive Zhat Vash, she lurked in the shadows waiting for the moment to strike and wipe out all synthetic life.

Like most Capricorns, she was practical and ambitious, using her half-Vulcan heritage to mask her half-Romulan one. Patient and extremely cautious, she didn't reveal her hand until absolutely necessary. As pessimistic as they come, she groomed Narissa Rizzo to join the Conclave of Eight and work to prevent an impending Romulan apocalypse.

2 AQUARIUS - JEAN-LUC PICARD

Once one of the most decorated officers in Starfleet, former Admiral Jean-Luc Picard was known as the most diplomatic captain ever to commandeer the USS Enterprise-D. His integrity was beyond reproach, and he believed that every individual had the right to advocate for their own civil liberties.

As an Aquarian, Picard could be equally detached and friendly. Known for being intensely private even in his days aboard the Enterprise-D, in his later years he learned to display emotions to those he held dear. Fiercely independent and innovative, he often worked outside the parameters of Starfleet and the Federation to do the right thing.

1 PISCES - AGNES JURATI

Working alongside Dr. Bruce Maddox at the Daystrom Institute, Dr. Agnes Jurati was a brilliant cyberneticist who helped him perfect the process of fractal neuronic cloning. With one neuron from Commander Data's positronic brain, they were able to make many more flesh and blood synthetic life forms.

Like many Pisces, Dr. Jurati was sensitive and compassionate, which made her a thorough researcher and a good friend. However, she could also be idealistic and naive, refusing to see the truth about something right in front of her, including the duplicity of Commodore Oh. Weak-willed and easily led, it took her being utterly selfless to rid her of her complacency in the impending apocalypse.
