The CBC Television show just released its fourth season this month, filled with new storylines and dramatic moments the Kim family finds themselves in. And thanks to IMDb, fans have rated each episode out of a 10-star rating, so keep reading to see the show's highest-rated episodes.

10 Hapkido: Season 1, Episode 7 (8.0)

In the episode "Hapkido," Janet and her buddy Gerald sign up for a Hapkido class to get more in touch with Korean culture. Janet tried to keep it a secret from Appa but that didn't work out too well. Once Appa realized Janet was paying someone else to teach her the martial art, he decided to step in and prove that he was better than her teacher. It wasn't until he went with her to class to challenge her teacher that he realized who her teacher was. Meanwhile, Jung runs into his ex-girlfriend from high school and emotions are mixed when both moms get involved.

9 Resting Place: Season 2, Episode 6 (8.1)

In the second season, Umma finds out that Appa sold one of their burial spots 20 years ago after being offered a lot of money for it. He was hoping that she wouldn't notice until after he died so he wouldn't have to hear her arguing about it (but that clearly didn't happen). The pair try to sell off their last burial place but their plan falls apart when the woman who wanted to buy it died early.

Over at Gerald and Janet's place, Gerald thinks Janet is doing personal things in her bedroom that make him uncomfortable, but all she's doing is using a neck massager.

8 Sneak Attack: Season 2, Episode 7 (8.1)

In the episode "Sneak Attack," Appa is shocked when he finds out Umma has a side hustle of selling Korean skincare products to her friends at the convenience store. After he finds out how much extra money she's making, though, he calms down.

On the other side of town, Janet tries her best to get into a coveted film festival but after she's denied entrance, she tries to sneak in the back. She gets caught and uses her Korean heritage to pretend that her English isn't great and that she's one of the filmmakers.

7 Wingman: Season 1, Episode 5 (8.1)

"Wingman" was a lighthearted episode where we got to see Umma let her hair down and have fun with new friends. Mr. Chin is single and trying to pick up a woman he met but needs Appa to join him as his wingman. Appa's role was to make Mr. Chin seem desirable to the women but their plan backfires when Umma tags along. Umma ends up winning the ladies over with her adorable personality and takes all the focus off Mr. Chin.

While Appa and Umma are out on the town, Janet is taking care of the store. She has Jung come over in secret to look at a leaking pipe but the bonding moment was ruined when the two are robbed. It's here when Janet meets an old friend of Jung's from high school and forms a crush.

6 Knife Strife: Season 4, Episode 12 (8.1)

In "Knife Strife," Umma and Appa talk to the police after finding a knife in the convenience store. As it turns out, the knife could have been a murder weapon. Over in Janet's world, she's hanging out with Nathan again and wondering if he's really the right fit for her. They don't have much in common and don't see eye to eye on many things, but Janet isn't much of a talker and keeps most of these thoughts confined to herself and deep talks with Gerald.

5 Janet's Boyfriend: Season 2, Episode 10 (8.1)

"Janet's Boyfriend" was all about her secret relationship with Raj Mehta, whose parents were friends with Janet's parents. Keeping their relationship on the down-low was best before getting their parents involved. But after Janet finds out Raj got engaged to another woman to make his parents happy, she was heartbroken. Appa eventually finds out about Raj breaking Janet's heart and gives him a stern talking-to in his store.

Meanwhile, Jung and Kimchee decide to throw a house party but their differing ideas cause an argument, making the party totally awkward.

4 Service: Season 1, Episode 8 (8.1)

At church, Appa and Umma learn that they're getting a new female pastor, Pastor Nina. Appa is smitten by Nina, and lets her get whatever she wants from the store without charging her, much to Umma's chagrin.

After Kim's Convenience was robbed in episodes prior, Janet begins dating the cop that took care of the case. The zinger is that he and Jung used to be friends, which ends up making Jung more uncomfortable than he was anticipating.

3 Handyman: Season 1, Episode 11 (8.1)

"Handyman" was a touching episode because we saw Mr. Kim treat Kimchee the way he wanted to treat his son Jung. At this point in the series, Appa and Jung still weren't on speaking terms, so the moment was quite touching.

Kimchee and Jung were having issues with their toilet, so Mr. Kim promised to come over and fix it. Knowing his dad was at home, Jung stalls by hanging out with Shannon instead.

It was also in this episode that we meet Edwin, an old flame of Mrs. Kim's. His presence in the convenient store was enough to drive Janet and Mr. Kim mad, though, since they didn't appreciate his intentions.

2 In The Bedroom: Season 4, Episode 10 (8.1)

"In The Bedroom" was given an 8.1 from fans and it's easy to see why. As empty-nesters, Appa and Umma decide to create a new sleeping arrangement: Umma would stay in the master bedroom and Appa would create a man cave of sorts in Janet's old room. The two acted like adorable teenagers dating again but they started panicking when the new sleeping situation became too comfortable.

While their parents are figuring out their new sleeping arrangement, Jung is trying to break into the modeling world with Gerald and Janet's help.

1 Janet's New Job: Season 1, Episode 10 (8.2)

It's easy to see why "Janet's New Job" had the highest rating. This episode was comical, endearing, and super relatable. Janet was tired of being a student and working at the family convenience store without getting properly paid. Her parents tried to prove to her that she owes them for years of activities and education but Janet needed money, She decides to leave the convenience store and get a job at Handy with her brother Jung. But after realizing she would have to work weekends, she quit Handy and went back to working for her parents — as long as they paid her.
