Bradley Whitford plays one of the writers for the Mary Poppins movie and they all create a fun rapport with Thompson. It has a great balance of comedy and serious drama and is a fun watch!

A Perfect World, directed by Clint Eastwood, follows a convict (Kevin Costner) who kidnaps a young boy and goes on the LAM. Surprisingly, the convict and his victim form a bond as they run away together. Eastwood plays the Texas Ranger responsible for hunting down Costner, and although he realizes Costner may be a good person overall, he still adheres to his duty. Jordan Peele's directorial debut horror/psychological thriller Get Out follows a young black man (Daniel Kaluuya) as he goes to meet his white girlfriend's (Allison Williams) family for the first time. He starts with having normal anxieties about meeting her parents and some comedic foreshadowing from his best friend warning him not to go to the house, but he gradually realizes that his friend was right.
The film divulges the truth of the girlfriend's family and Bradley Whitford plays the devilish father of the girlfriend who has some terrifying surgical techniques. It's a completely new movie that is worth a watch!
6 Awakenings (1990) - 7.8
Awakenings is based on the true story of a doctor (Robin Williams) in the 1960s experimenting with treatments for a group of catatonic patients. His hypothesis was that Parkinson's treatment would help these patients, and although he's met with a lot of skepticism, he's able to help this group of patients. It has great reviews and although Bradley Whitford doesn't have a big role it's worth a watch if you love Robin Williams and movies based on true stories.

This drama follows a student (Chris O'Donnell) who agrees to babysit an unlikable and rough blind man (Al Pacino) because he needs the cash. It takes a while for the two to warm up to each other, but they gradually form a bond that surprises them both. Although Whitford isn't in the film much, it has great reviews and Pacino even won an Academy Award for his performance, so it's worth checking out!

The Good Guys was a television show about a typical team-up between two detectives, one a young by the book rookie (Colin Hanks) and the other an older rouge and washed-up detective (Bradley Whitford). The two build a fun and engaging rapport as they first are upset they're partnered up together, but find that they complement each other well. Although the show only lasted a year, it has great reviews and is a casual and quick watch. If you're a fan of police procedurals and Bradley Whitford, definitely check this one out.

This show follows the lives of the cast, crew, and writers of a live comedy skit show that airs every week. The West Wing follows the lives of the White House staff of the current president (Martin Sheen) as they tackle America's greatest problems. Bradley Whitford played Deputy Chief of Staff, Josh Lyman. In the role, he was able to show his comedic acting that was accented by the occasional dramatic storyline, which hit harder because of the character's normal goofy nature. The show is a classic and although Whitford's career is continuing to grow, he will always be known as Josh Lyman!
