Hulu is full of great scripted and reality TV shows. The streaming service has one of the most extensive TV collections currently available. Not to mention, its library is always expanding.
In April 2020, Hulu adds a ton of new programming, but we’re most excited to watch Hulu’s new reality TV programming. Hulu is adding both new reality TV shows and new seasons of some of our favorites. Hulu has content from the major networks like NBC, ABC, Fox, and CBS, but it also has shows from niche networks like The Food Network, HGTV, Bravo, and Lifetime.
With so many great reality TV out there it was hard to hone on a few, so for more great options make sure to take a stroll through Hulu’s extensive reality TV collection. That being said, here are a few of the returning and new series that have sparked our interest.
Where It’s Available: April 1st
Alton Brown hosts Cutthroat Kitchen. At the start of the first round, all the chefs receive $25,000, and then they use that money to bid on sabotages to distribute to the other contestants. Sabotages could include losing an important ingredient, like the cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich or losing the ability to move around during a challenge. The grand prize of each episode depends on how much money the winner has left after bidding on sabotages. So the prize money ranges from $0 to $25,000. Hulu currently has a few other seasons available, so there is plenty to watch if you’re new to the world of Cutthroat Kitchen.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is another 90 Day Fiancé spin-off series. This one is more of a follow-up/catch-up series of couples who appeared on previous seasons of 90 Day Fiancé. It shows what has happened since their wedding, or since the last time they appeared on the show. A few couples featured on the fourth season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After are Chantel and Pedro, Colt and Larissa, and Jay and Ashley. The previous three seasons of the series are available on Hulu.

Hulu is home to multiple Real Housewives series, including The Real Housewives of Potomac. This series follows in its predecessors footsteps with plenty of drama, feuds, and shade. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast brings as much drama as possible in season 4. If you enjoy this brand of entertainment, then you won’t be disappointed. Hulu also has the first three seasons of Potomac already available to stream.
When It’s Available: April 14th
The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart is the latest series in The Bachelor franchise. Twenty singles try to find love through the power of music. They’ll sing separately and together to build attraction and test the power of music and love. Their dates will also be music based. This is a completely new show from the producers of The Bachelor, so there is no telling if this will be a big train-wreck or TV gold. We’re leaning towards train wreck, but excited to see it. The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart premieres on ABC on April 13, and then appears on Hulu the next day.
When It’s Available: April 14
Songland is a series that involves music experts helping an unknown artist record and produce an original song. Singer-songwriters perform original music and judges Ryan Tedder, Shane McAnally, and Ester Dean select three of these contestants to continue on to the workshop phase. After tweaking their music, the contestants present their music to special judge of the week. He or she then picks the song that he or she wants to record. Past guest judges have included The Jonas Brothers, Charlie Puth, and John Legend. Songland season 2 premieres on April 13 on NBC, and that episode is available on Hulu the next day. The complete first season of Songland is currently available on Hulu.
