Love Is Blind: Barnett's Best & Worst Moments | ScreenRant

The new dating show Love is Blind is taking over Netflix with its wild system for finding love. With Nick and Vanessa Lachey as hosts, they find out if love really is blind. With a wall in between each person, a man and a woman are in their own separate "pod" as they get to know the other person without being able to see them. Once two people fall for each other, the man is supposed to propose and the woman has to accept or deny it. From there, they're able to see each other for the first time.

One of the stars of the show is Barnett. From the start, he caused some drama for falling for three different women (who also all fell for him) but when it came time to finding a wife, he chose Amber to propose to. With the reunion episode coming to Netflix soon, let's take a look at Barnett's best and worst moments.

10 Best: He Chose Amber

We can't really blame Barnett for being hung up on three different women before narrowing it down to one. He fell for Jessica, Amber, and LC before ever meeting them in person. And while he was very close to all three, he ended up choosing Amber.

After seeing them throughout the duration of the series, it's obvious these two were meant to be. They were each other's counterparts and truly accepted each other as they were. Getting to know Jessica more on the show, her and Barnett would not have been a good match.

9 Worst: His Comments In The Pod About Amber

While Barnett and Amber were "dating" between the pods, his comments and assumptions about her were pretty gnarley. In fact, even Lauren (who did not connect with Barnett) didn't understand why three women liked him so much.

When he got to know Amber more, he kept saying that he liked her but she was "scary." Was it her time in the army that scared him or was it her out-going personality? Nevertheless, when they started talking more, Amber told him she was wearing high-waisted pants, to which he said he hated women that wore high-waisted pants... #Awakward

8 Best: He's A Hardworker

Once the group leaves Mexico and head into the real world, they show each other their respective houses and how they live. Amber admitted to her "working to live" mentality, which kind of scared Barnett because he was so established in his own career. He had his own home, a great job, and a dog to care for.

Later in the series, the couple met for a drink when he asked what Amber did all day and she admitted to doing nothing but drinking wine and watching Netflix. Meanwhile, Amber said Barnett had been working non-stop to prepare for the wedding.

7 Worst: Leading On Jessica

It's not that Barnett lead on Jessica because that's the whole point of the show — to date different people through the pods until you find your right match. But it's the things he said to her that she couldn't get over when he eventually moved on to Amber. He even got jealous when Mark was bragging about his connection with Jessica.

Later on, Jessica could not get over the fact that Barnett was so close to proposing to her and said the sweetest things. Seeing him so happy with Amber (and her relationship with Mark falling apart) was hard for her.

6 Best: His Relationship With Koda

Is there anything cuter than seeing a person's sweet bond with their pet? Barnett seems like a great catch and he became even more attractive when he showed off his dog, Koda.

We got to meet Koda when he showed Amber his house and he explained more than once that it's just been him and Koda for a long time. She even sleeps in bed with him sometimes!

5 Worst: He Insulted Diamond In The Pod

In the second episode, we learn that Amber and Jessica both feel extremely confident in their respective relationships with Barnett. Likewise, Barnett said he could see himself marrying both of them.

But when Jessica is venting to Diamond about being torn between Barnett and Mark, Diamond explains that she was on #TeamMark because Barnett associated her name with a stripper and ever since then she wrote him off. C'mon Barnett! You're better than that.

4 Best: Opening His Home To Amber

Seeing how well Amber and Barnett worked together was a sight to see. And since Amber was living in an apartment and Barnett owned his own home, it would make sense for Amber to move in with Barnett, which he was more than open to. And unlike Jessica's reaction to Mark's living situation, Amber loved Barnett's home and the fact that he had furniture. She didn't even care about Koda's dog hair or pee stains!

3 Worst: His Cold Feet Before The Wedding

It was extremely unsettling when Barnett had cold feet before his wedding day with Amber. It's realistic to be nervous before the big day (especially in a setting like this) but he left Amber on read. She showed up at the wedding venue in tears, not sure if Barnett was even going to show up because he didn't respond to her many phone calls.

Thankfully, he did show up to the wedding and said "I do" but it was upsetting to see his emotions turn so quickly overnight.

2 Best: The Wedding

Barnett and Amber really do seem like the real deal. Fans weren't sure if these two were going to follow through with the wedding, especially after Barnett's cold feet ordeal, but they were the first couple to say "I do." Seeing how happy they were as they cut their cake and dance the night away was a sight to see. Team Amber & Barnett fans were happy to see this couple work out in the end.

1 Worst: Being Stuck Between Amber & His Family

Barnett may have been sold on Amber but he wasn't so sure his family would be. Amber is very outgoing, silly, and says what's on her mind while Barnett's family is more conservative and tight-lipped. The meeting went very well but some heavy conversations were brought up afterward. Amber put Barnett in a tough situation by asking him who he would choose if his family didn't like her: her or his family? He literally couldn't give her an answer, which made her uneasy. And truth be told, it was upsetting for Amber to put him in that situation to begin with.
