10 Peter Krause As Adam Braverman In Parenthood (2010 - 2015) - 8.2

Peter Krause, known for his role on Six Feet Under as Nathaniel Fisher Jr., plays the oldest Braverman child, Adam, in the NBC comedy-drama Parenthood. The show follows the trials and tribulations of the large Braverman family, consisting of older parents and their four adult children, as well as their children's spouses and offspring. Krause's Adam is married with three children and struggling to find viable work while keeping his large clan afloat.

In the show, Hall plays a blood spatter analyst in Miami whose dark and troubling tendencies were recognized by his stepfather, Harry, at a young age.

Harry helped the teenage Dexter channel his urges, and as an adult, Dexter abides by a strict code, only killing people who have evaded justice for their heinous crimes. 7 Richard Jenkins As Robert In Kajillionaire (2020) - 8.8

Richard Jenkins plays the iconic Nathaniel Fisher Sr., who is killed by a commuter bus on Christmas in the first 10 minutes of Six Feet Under. He appears throughout the series in flashbacks, dreams, and hallucinations.

Jenkins has starred in acclaimed films like The Shape of Water and The Cabin in the Woods, but his highest-rated film is the forthcoming Kajillionaire, which just premiered at the 2020 Sundance Festival.

5 Freddy Rodriguez As Wray In Planet Terror (2007) - 7.5

Freddy Rodriguez plays Federico Diaz, the embalmer at Fisher Funeral Home who becomes more and more involved in the family business. Six Feet Under also highlights Diaz's own family struggles, and Rodriguez gives a memorable performance as a person trying to make a name for himself professionally while being emotionally available to his spouse.

Rodriguez stars in Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror, which was released as a double feature alongside Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof under the umbrella title Grindhouse. Both films pay homage to gratuitous and campy exploitation films from the 1960s and 1970s. In Planet Terror, Rodriguez plays a man named El Wray, the ex-boyfriend of Rose McGowan's character Cherry, trying to deal with a zombie invasion.

4 Rachel Griffiths As Bertha Doss In Hacksaw Ridge (2016) - 8.1

Rachel Griffiths, who portrays Nathaniel Fisher Jr.'s on-again,off-again lover, Brenda Chenowith, earned a Golden Globe for her performance in Six Feet Under. This Australian actor is also known for her role in Mel Gibson's 2016 war drama Hacksaw Ridge, based on the true story of a pacifistic Seventh-Day Adventist who served in World War II as a medic.

The film depicts the life of Desmond Doss, the first conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor for his involvement in the Battle of Okinawa. Griffiths plays Doss' mother, Bertha, and Doss is portrayed by Andrew Garfield.

3 Mathew St. Patrick As Moses Cartwright In Sons Of Anarchy (2008 - 2015) - 8.6

Mathew St. Patrick is known for his role as Keith, David Fisher's partner, a police officer struggling with many inner demons. St. Patrick has many television credits under his belt, but the highest-rated show he's been involved with is the biker gang drama Sons of Anarchy.

Sisto plays Lucian Knapp, an FBI operative who works privately as a kidnapping investigator. Knapp has a reputation for getting the job done and has plenty of resources on his side.

1 James Cromwell As Warden Hal Moores In The Green Mile (1999) - 8.6

Acclaimed actor James Cromwell plays Ruth Fisher's second husband, George Sibley. A geologist, Sibley was married six times before meeting Ruth. As they settle into a life together, it's revealed Sibley suffers from episodes of severe depression, which causes him to seek out electroconvulsive therapy.

Cromwell is known for many roles, but his most famous is as the warden in the film The Green Mile, adapted from the novel of the same title by Stephen King.
