I Know That Voice: Other Big Shows The Cast Of Teen Titans Are In

Have you ever been sitting there watching TV and thought - "I know that voice from somewhere." Of course you have. It happens to all of us. The thing with voice actors is that the good ones often do a large chunk of work. Video games, anime, animated children's shows - nothing is really off limits, and their voice will quite literally pop up anywhere.

In this list, we will be discussing the cast of the popular Cartoon Network show Teen Titans, which ran from 2003 to 2006. It's a classic, and it contained a classic cast. These are other big shows that the cast of Teen Titans are in.

10 Ashley Johnson

Ashley Johnson wasn't in much of Teen Titans, appearing in only seven of the show's 65 episodes, but she still left an impression with her role as Terra.

Johnson is a wildly successful voice actress, and you probably recognize her as Ellie from The Last of Us. As for television, Johnson has voiced Shiseru in Naruto Shippuden, Gwen Tennyson in the Ben 10 series, Peter Shepherd in Jumanji, and perhaps most notably Gretchen Grundler in Recess. She's a certified expert in the voice acting field.

9 Lauren Tom

Like Ashley Johnson, Lauren Tom only briefly appeared in Teen Titans, voicing Gizmo for seven episodes. But despite her brief appearance, you undoubtedly recognize her from her more substantial work.

From 1997 to 2010 she played Connie and Minh in 98 episodes of King of the Hill. During that time she also voiced Dana Tan on Batman Beyond, Numbuh 3 in Codename: Kids Next Door, Yan Lin in W.I.T.C.H., and Amy Wong in well over one hundred episodes of Futurama. Surely you recognize her now.

8 Kevin Michael Richardson

Kevin Michael Richardson is another veteran of voice acting, having done it regularly since the early 90s. In Teen Titans he voiced numerous characters, including Mammoth, See-More, and Trigon. But like we said, that is certainly not the only show you recognize his voice from.

You may recognize him from Family Guy, where he voices Jerome and Cleveland Jr. Or maybe American Dad! where he does Principal Lewis. Or Mal Duncan in Young Justice. Or The Joker in The Batman. Or Rosie in F Is for Family. We could be here all day if we keep on at this rate...

7 Ron Perlman

Ron Perlman is a beloved actor and has one of the most distinctive voices in Hollywood. As you can imagine, he gets a lot of voice work, including that of Slade in Teen Titans.

Since that time Perlman has voiced Vice Principal Lancer in Danny Phantom, Killer Croc and Bane in The Batman, The Lich in Adventure Time, Bular in Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, and for the more mature viewers among you, the narrator of 1000 Ways to Die.

He does a little bit of everything, but no matter where he goes, that deep, gravelly voice goes with him.

6 Dee Bradley Baker

Baker is perhaps the most popular voice actor so far on this list. If you don't recognize the voice, you probably recognize the name. Baker provided a few voices for Teen Titans, most notably Plasmus, Silkie, and Cinderblock. But Teen Titans is only scratching the surface of Baker's accomplishments.

He was/is Appa in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Klaus in American Dad!, Squilliam in SpongeBob SquarePants, Waddles in Gravity Falls, and Big Chill in Ben 10, just to name but a few. Chances are if you've ever watched an animated show, you've heard the voice of Dee Bradley Baker.

5 Tara Strong

Finally, we come to the main cast. Tara Strong provided the voice of Raven as well as secondary characters like Kole, Jinx, and Gizmo.

Like the others on this list, Tara Strong is a veteran of voice acting and has appeared in shows as diverse as Rugrats (Dil Pickles), The Fairly OddParents (Timmy Turner, Poof), Ben 10 (Ben), The Powerpuff Girls (Bubbles), and My Little Pony (Twilight Sparkle). You may have recently caught her on Marvel Rising: Chasing Ghosts and Battle of the Bands, where she played Mary Jane.

4 Khary Payton

Khary Payton is a relative newcomer to the voice acting scene (compared to some of the others on this list, anyway), having begun in 2002.

Since then he has become known as the voice of Cyborg, which he has done not only for Teen Titans, but also for Lego DC Comics, Justice League Action, and DC Super Hero Girls. Aside from that, he has worked on shows like Ben 10 (playing Hex), G.I. Joe: Renegades (Ripcord), and The Lion Guard (Rafiki). However, you probably know him best as Ezekiel in The Walking Dead!

3 Scott Menville

Scott Menville is a character actor, appearing in dozens of movies, TV shows, and animated programs, including as Robin in Teen Titans.

Menville's work spans all the way back to the early 80s, when he was a series regular on The Little Rascals (providing the voice of Spanky). Since then he has appeared as Actor Sokka in Avatar, Shaggy in Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!, Crankshaw in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Otto Octavius in Spider-Man. And literally, those are just four of DOZENS! The man must be a workaholic or something...

2 Greg Cipes

Greg Cipes doesn't quite have the vast filmography that some of the others do, but he is still a prominent figure in the world of voice acting. He portrayed Beast Boy in Teen Titans, a role he re-inhabited for Teen Titans Go!

He also provides the voice of Kevin Levin in Ben 10 (seriously, how many Teen Titan actors are in Ben 10!?), Iron Fist in Ultimate Spider-Man, Tu in The Legend of Korra, Tad in Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and most recently Mort in Milo Murphy's Law. Like we said, not plentiful but certainly substantial!

1 Hynden Walch

Hynden Walch gets first billing on IMDb, providing the voices of Starfire, Blackfire, Madame Rouge, and Argent.

Some older viewers may recognize her as Penny Sanchez from ChalkZone, a role she inhabited between 2002 and 2008. More recently she has provided the voices of Princess Bubblegum in Adventure Time, Ellen Pierce in Mister P, Lockette/Amore in Winx Club, and Bubblemonkey in Doc McStuffins.
