While some contestants on Dancing With The Stars scored big during Horror Night, Kenya Moore and Brandon Armstrong were sent home, and now fans claim the dance competition show is rigged. For the show's Halloween-inspired night, Kendra and Brandon performed the argentine tango to The Weeknd's "Take My Breath." The pair were dressed in black to match their assigned horror film, Arachnophobia. After their performance, the couple scored four 8s from the judges, and ultimately, they were sent home.
Though the judges did have positive things to say about the performance, Kendra and Brandon's total score of 32 out of 40 was not enough to compete with their costars. JoJo and Jenna's performance scored them their second week of perfect 10s, while Iman and Daniella blew the judges away with their Jordan Pelle's Us-inspired contemporary routine. They scored four 10s as well, pushing Kenya and Brandon further behind in the competition.
Fans, however, believe that Kenya's elimination had been planned from the beginning as they are now claiming Dancing With The Stars is a rigged competition. After Kenya left the stage at the end of the episode, fans took to Twitter to share their opinions, insisting her elimination was proof the show is rigged. Fit2BeJustMe wrote, "I hate that they did that. There is NO WAY you should be gone, but it's rigged I hope you know that.....JoJo Siwa was pinned to win before the show even started." One of the main reasons fans believe the show is rigged is because Kenya is one of the main stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and the show was set to start filming. If Kenya planned on being in the newest season, she couldn't be filming the two shows at once due to the demanding schedule of both.
However, some fans were ahead of the game as they already suspected Kenya would go home before her elimination aired. When former bachelor Matt James was sent home after Disney night, TikTok user zacharyreality pointed out that Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette was airing a week later. The reality TV fan claimed, "ABC for some reason thinks that is Matt James is still in Dancing, that it's gonna affect Michelle's season somehow." He went on to predict that Kenya would be eliminated as well so that she could return to Atlanta to film RHOA.
There seems to be some pretty strong evidence that Kenya's elimination was not a surprise but was actually planned ahead of time. However, her emotional reaction to the elimination seemed pretty authentic. It's unlikely fans will ever get a straight answer from producers about how much of the show is real and how much is fabricated. Though if fans want to keep investigating if any more eliminations seem suspicious, they'll have to keep watching Dancing With The Stars until the finale.
Dancing With The Stars airs Mondays at 8 PM on ABC.
