The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa has gotten rid of her marital bed during an extreme home makeover. The reality star is looking to move on to bigger and better things.
Teresa Giudice is best known as the table-flipping diva of the New Jersey housewives. She and Joe Giudice were married for 20 years after dating as childhood sweethearts. After Joe got in trouble with the United States government by avoiding taxes and spent some time behind bars, he was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and immediately flown back to his home country, Italy. Towards the end of the year, Joe and his wife, Teresa, sat down with a tell-all interview, where they opened up about the state of their marriage to Andy Cohen. Finally announcing that they had decided to go their separate ways.
There is nothing like a little spring cleaning when one is locked at home during a worldwide pandemic. According to E! Teresa is making room for new furniture in her house while she gives her mansion a total makeover. As the reality star prepares to embark on a new chapter of her life, she felt the best place to start was inside her family home.
According to Jimmy DeLaurentis, an interior designer, the reality star needed a bit of help bringing her old fashion home up to date. Jimmy shared with fans that their inspiration for the new look came about while the mother of four was trying to clean out her skeletons from the closet. Teresa admitted that her house felt dark and was out of date since it was crowded with old Italian pieces. Now that Joe was not going to be coming back to the house, she wanted a lighter feel and less of the "doom and gloom." The interior designer took it upon himself to select sexy furniture that matched the Bravo’s personality. The house even got a brand-new paint job and the drapes fans were familiar with were kicked to the curb. Jimmy’s work has been put on hold, but he explained that he is looking forward to tackling Teresa’s bedroom. He can reveal that her marital bed has been replaced. Fans will remember in season 1 when Teresa went to one store and brought all her items in one fell swoop.
Fans will recall that Teresa has had a hard year. She not only split from her husband but also lost her beloved father, Giacinto Gorga. Everyone is thrilled that Teresa is picking up the pieces of her shattered life and starting to move on. The Real Housewives of New Jersey are even said to be resuming filming next week.
