Kori Sampson was never really interested in a long-term relationship on Too Hot To Handle. If we learned anything about Kori during his brief stay at the retreat, that was it.
One of the last ones to arrive at the Mexico resort, Kori made quick work to woo the women. He made an instant connection with Chloe Veitch. At the time, Chloe was coupled up with Bryce Hirschberg, but she wasn't happy in that relationship. After she kissed Bryce, costing the group $3,000, she wasn't into him anymore. Kori came along at the perfect time. They shared a kiss while no one was looking, and Chloe was really excited about her connection with Kori. Unfortunately for her, Kori wasn't into it. While most of the other cast members embraced the process, learning to quell their sexual urges and try to develop a deeper bond with someone they got along with, Kori had other plans. When Lana asked him who he wanted to go on a date with, he chose the woman he was most attracted to. It wasn't Chloe. Kori went out with Francesca, who informed him that her heart belonged to Harry. Kori was eliminated in the finale with Madison Wyborny because each of them had not grown enough.
Kori's profession and lifestyle doesn't differ from many of the contestants on the season. He is a model and is well traveled, according to his social media. He also has his own website, where he promotes a "lean lifestyle." Kori hails from Hertfordshire, in the U.K. He was one of several British contestants, as the show pulled from people all around the world.
While Kori wasn't the most outgoing character, he may have exemplified the type of person most in need of a sexless retreat. His mind appeared to be singularly focused on how to get in bed with a woman. He didn't come to Mexico looking for a relationship, and there was nothing Lana - or anyone else for that matter - could say to change his mind.
Kori didn't seem all that bummed to leave before securing a portion of the cash prize. After all, it seems like he has a pretty stable career. The money probably wasn't all that big a deal to him. In fact, there weren't many people at that resort who would greatly benefit from receiving that meager cash reward, since they had to split it among them. That explains why everyone was so willing to hook up.
